LCAT Setting for Experience Question

Hello,

I am very confused about the Settings for Experience that are acceptable to

accrue hours for licensure. I have read the New York State Office of Professions

Website description of the requirements for the setting, and I still can't

figure it out. It is not only institutions run by OMH, is it? I have heard that

non-profits do not count, but don't some count? What if the non-profit employs

clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, dispenses medication, etc.? They are

claerly providing mental health services. As I am looking for jobs, I cannot

figure out which jobs will count for licensure hours and which will not. I would

greatly appreciate any information or clarity on the subject.
