Guest guest
<< and above all his magna doodle....Carole>> Hi, Everyone.....Carole....mannnnnnnnnnnn the memories!!! Gareth went through so many of those between the ages of 5-10. He'd sit for hours and do his " chicken scribble " . It looked like the kid was writing a manuscript. He'd have the whole thing filled....line after line after line of tiny chicken scribble!!! FWIW....I really like having all you 'newbies' .....you bring back all the memories of my hardest years. Believe me, it does get better. <<I didn't recognize the grieving process and just how important it is to allow myself to admit that it's crappy news >> Sue.....sorry to hear Karrie didn't travel so well. We are so optimistic about our kids, but Gareth has had his share of meltdowns in airports, too. As for grieving, a lot of us have done it twice. Once when we found out our child has Down Syndrome and, then, when we hear the " A " word. We all go through it and need to take our time in adjusting to another 'roadblock' in our lives. You have the dx, new meds, and a world of cyber friends praying for you and Karrie. Take your time and pray for patience each night for the next day. One day at a time....that's all you need to get through right now. << I can't wait to read the posts everyday on everyone's children. I think of them daily and my spirit smiles , I am so thankful for each and everyone on this list. Perspective is everything!!!! ----->> .....it's like an addiction. I HAVE to read it daily. Just the idea that there are other 'Gareth's' out there and people dealing with issues that I thought I was the only one having......makes my day. <<I know exactly which Power Rangers you're talking about. also loves these guys and has a bucket full of these oldie Power Ranger dudes. If there are any extra I'll be glad to send it your way. >> Irma.....if is anything like Gareth, PLEEEEEEASE don't take his toys. Gareth has plenty of banging toys and he would know if ONE was gone!!! I would have to search the house for it!!! Finding them at garage sales is one thing, but I wouldn't want to take 's toys. Take care, Everyone. Margaret
Guest guest
Hi Margaret, You are certaintly correct on that part would know if one was gone. His brother Rick also had a collection back when he was younger and no longer wanted them and passed them for whoever wanted them. I always had to invest on purchasing 2 to 3 of everything when Rick was into something like the gotta have, just like that movie Arnold Schwarzenegger came out on Jingle All The Way. The things I did back then. Anyways they would be the extras. Rick played with them and the other for collection, until wanted what Rick had and then I ended purchasing them for , to stim with, line them up, etc.. I promise I'll keep an eye out for them at the flea markets and garage sales, ok? Irma,15,DS/ASD > Irma.....if is anything like Gareth, PLEEEEEEASE don't take his toys.
