Guest guest
theres charcoal and clay binders, theres several froms of detox online you might search and see if of those interest you. I have the stomach and bowel problems too so I understand needing to stay natural and mild , green veg's help detox, garlic too, I munch on alot of celery too. milk thisle, theres a herb called slippery weed I thought about trying. even a colon cleanse sometimes is good. soaking in warm baths with bakeing soda or epsom salts. even drinking epsom salt in water and/or bakeing soda and water. you can blend several green veggie's and garlic as both ruffage/binding and cleaning. lemon and limes are good too. fruit smothies, use fruit that void of bad spots and still alittle unrippened. dark berries are good but watch out for over ripe/rotting ones. fresh uncut watermellon but it starts fermenting pretty fast with air contact, sometimes I just eat it inplace of a meal, good for kidney and bladder detox too. pomanaid juice. > > > > Milk of Magnesia stops the digestive systems process, and confuses eventually. Guest guest
Yes! I do all these things-especially soaking in a tub-excellent for detoxing. I have also done raw food weeks with juicing for 3 of the days and colonics which I swear by but I know is really not for everybody. It's really important what you put in to your body but it's so hard too. Thanks for the suggestions! Surella > > > > > > Milk of Magnesia stops the digestive systems process, and confuses eventually. My own system goes into rebellion and won't release anything. I just get sick feeling and constipated. Once I get my mold levels down REALLY low, the toxins just pour out. Guest guest
The only time I've had a problem with constapation through this whole ordeal was when I tried CSM. both of my exposures caused dierehia and drastic weight loss. > > > > It may take a year to see a measurable improvement with CSM if you have a great toxin load, also if you are still in a toxic environment, it will not keep up at all, this has been my personal experience. > > > , what happens to you when you take csm and you're not in a really pristine environment? > > My own system goes into rebellion and won't release anything. > > I just get sick feeling and constipated. > > Once I get my mold levels down REALLY low, the toxins just pour out. Guest guest
Slaya, so let me see if I have this straight, CSM works by itself but only if your in a pristine environment. which means what? and where? a moldy desert in the winter? traveling to two different pristine spots contantly, if you can find them? what do these pristine environments do? stop immune responces to everything? that can cause a immune responce? would desert sand flying around and up your nose with severe sinus problems not be considered a irritant, also causeing a immune responce? does your immune system not work at all in which case you'd be dead ? does your liver not work at all in which case you'd be dead? has CSM somehow interfered with your liver where it doesn't detox at all? > > > > It may take a year to see a measurable improvement with CSM if you have a great toxin load, also if you are still in a toxic environment, it will not keep up at all, this has been my personal experience. > > > , what happens to you when you take csm and you're not in a really pristine environment? > > My own system goes into rebellion and won't release anything. > > I just get sick feeling and constipated. > > Once I get my mold levels down REALLY low, the toxins just pour out. Guest guest
Slaya, so maybe Dr. Shoemaker should say CSM only works if you can live in a prestine environment instead of just removeing yourself from the overly contaminated WDB ? is that what your saying? > > > > It may take a year to see a measurable improvement with CSM if you have a great toxin load, also if you are still in a toxic environment, it will not keep up at all, this has been my personal experience. > > > , what happens to you when you take csm and you're not in a really pristine environment? > > My own system goes into rebellion and won't release anything. > > I just get sick feeling and constipated. > > Once I get my mold levels down REALLY low, the toxins just pour out. Guest guest
See if you can get Welchol. It is a tablet and I found CSM really hard to tolerate, not my stomach but swallowing. I also think that acidophilus is really helpful for your stomach to reset the balance that gets disturbed by the whole experience. > > The only time I've had a problem with constapation through this whole ordeal was when I tried CSM. both of my exposures caused dierehia and drastic weight loss. >

Guest guest
My understanding from my kid's doc (dr. gray) is that you need to practice avoidance along with the CSM and any other treatments, it's not going to help if you are still in a highly moldy environment, I don't think it means you have to scrub the floors with a toothbrush until they are so clean you can eat off of them. Guest guest
Read Ritchie Shoemaker's book " Mold Warriiors " . It not only deals with mold toxins but also lyme toxins, as CSM (Cholestyramine) also moves out lyme toxins according to Dr. Shoemaker. I was on Dr. Shoemaker's protocol (CSM & doxy) for 9 months and it helped me greatly. He does a lot of different testing (c4a, MSH, VEGF, MMP9 to name a few) and HLA-DR gene testing also as many people have certain genes that prohibit the body from releasing certain toxins. Thus the need for this old cholesterol lowering drug CSM that not only helps the body get rid of cholesterol but also has been found to release mold toxins and toxins left from lyme disease, even in those with the non releasing specific genes. I do not know about curing lyme disease though as this protocol is mostly for chronic lyme casses, especially those that do not seem to improve or feel well after a lot of treatments to kill the lyme bacteria. Dr. Shoemaker feels that chronic human illness can be caused by " exposure to toxins produced by living organisms (biotoxins) " ....in our case the Borrelia burgdorferi and other tick related bacteria. He also has what he calls the VCS eye test (visual contrast sensitivity) in which certain results have been found to be associated to toxin exposure. One can take this test on his website, but be aware that I took both the website test and also the test in a doctor's office. I did not do good on the office testing at all, but did good on the internet test. After 9 months of his protocol, my VCS testing greatly improved. http://www.moldwarriors.com/about-ritchie-shoemaker.htm Click on " Lyme Disease " http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com/ http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com/learnmore/lymedisease.cfm http://www.moldwarriors.com/ Hope this helps. Guest guest
Cholestyramine does not kill anything. It is used to flush cholesterol and substances in the bile out of the body. It is used in Lyme treatments to help flush toxins that may have been left in your body by Lyme bacteria. Side effects include constipation and flatulance. Drink it at least one hour after medicines and wait at least 6 hours before taking any more medicine as that too will be flushed out. ________________________________ From: le Handy <kndplus2@...> Sent: Wed, July 28, 2010 11:28:16 AM Subject: Re: [ ] cholestyramine denise, does it " kill " lyme bacteria the way an antibiotic would? danielle On Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 8:12 AM, McDermott <pattymcd@...>wrote: > > > > > Hi , > > So many have had constipation and other side effects when using > cholestryamine. Guest guest
This is very interesting. When I first became ill I wondered about mold toxin. I was living in a n period home at the time. There was a gray-green mold that grew in the closet and in cabinets. I knew that HAD to be NO GOOD AT ALL. I could not stop the stuff. I wondered if it was something that I had once heard called 'House Sickness'. I was told that the second round with Lyme tested out negative. That was only about six months after the first bite that was positive. Knowing that spirochetes can cloak or hide so as to go undetected I wondered if the second tests came back false-negative. Nevertheless there was that tell-tale bite mark with a bulls-eye around it just before I fell ill, once again. Now that I am feeling so much better I will still be wondering about the house-sickness from the mold where I had lived. Supposedly both Olive Leaf Extract and Wild Oregano are both strong anti-viral medications as well as being anti-fungal. Nevertheless I intend to look into cholestyramine. Fungi is a notoriously hard thing to kill off. Thanks SO much for the information!!!                                  Be well and well blessed,                                                                    Errol He who binds himself to a joy, Does the winged life destroy.
