getting really nervouse at the time is approching to take my little girl to he

downs clininc of at akron childrens hospital

 

ive already been told we will be there for 4 hours im not sure what all they

plan on doing to her.

 

i do know we will be seeing the genetic person  an ive told them i want her

retested or further testing done so those are the only things i know they will

be doing,  what else should i be expecting them to do ? i think someone told me

they will be doing a heart scan on her but i cant remember .

 

 i know i was told by the early intervention people that they evauluate how your

child is doing  an they dont base it off what you tell them your child can do if

they dont see it they dont count it  ------ oh great my daughter wont do

anything infront of people she dont know  --- she wont even talk or try to crawl

or anything infront of her early intervention specialist,ive had to record her

talking an doing things just so they would believe me.

 

 

at 10 months old my daughter says the following words == mom, momma,

mum,dad,ahdada,bub, me , iwuv u,up  ke ke  == for kyle (a friends 11 month old i

babysit).

she says a few other things also ive get it all recorded

 

she s not crawling or walking yet though but almost, she uses a sippy cup full

time bottle is all gone no more bottles, shes on table food an eats  everything

an anything you put infront of her she loves food expecially anything i eat.

 

she loves everyone but can be a little shy of men  at times shes a full times

mommas girl .

 

 

over all i think shes doing really well ------just looking for some tips an

ideas what they might be doing at the clinic if anyone knows.
