Guest guest
Your thoughts/experiences please on giving melatonin. our four year old granddaughter has been sleeping with her parents for the past couple of years. She usually goes off to sleep on the floor and then sometime during the night will wake up and come into her parents bed. It seems she can go off to sleep okay but when she wakes up, she is unable to put herself back to sleep. We've talked about a very low dose of melatonin. Has this helped any of you with this problem? Thanks for your help.
Guest guest
, I don't know anything about Melatonin. However I do know that with my middle son Hayden, who is a typical child seems to be the same way you describe your granddaughter. That boy will not go to bed on his own, and it's not like he is sleeping alone in his room, because he shares a room with his older brother. For some odd reason he can't fall asleep in less he is near us. If my husband, and I are downstairs watching T.V. he has to come downstairs with us to fall a sleep. He could be up in his bed for hours not able to fall a sleep, but the moment he get's next to one of us, he out like a light! ** The funny thing of it is... Hayden always tell us that he loves his daddy more, but when he tries to get in bed with us it's always on my side, or on the floor by my side.** It's just to funny! It might just be a stage that she is going through, like Hayden. I'm sure that they will grow out of it. ~ mom to Adde Subject: Melatonin To: MosaicDS Date: Thursday, January 14, 2010, 8:36 PM  Your thoughts/experience s please on giving melatonin. our four year old granddaughter has been sleeping with her parents for the past couple of years.
