Amended Regulations for Mental Health Practitioners

The Board of Regents approved amendments to the regulations for the licensure of

mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, creative arts

therapists and psychoanalysts on June 22, 2010.

This approval follows and takes into account an assessment of public comments

received following the publication of the proposed amendments in the State

Register in March 2010.

These amendments took effect on July 14, 2010. Revised application forms and

updated instructions will be posted on the Office of the Professions website

shortly. (July 16, 2010)
