There were so many wonderful touching and clever signs. I'm very sad that I didn't get to meet some of the parents and grandparents that I wanted to. Maureen and Webster, I'm sorry! I must have passed too, but couldn't remember from pictures how to recognize her. Bummer. Between the staff meeting, march, rally, and legislative meetings afterward I had very little time. I'm scrambling to do laundry and catch up on e-mails, etc..! Guest guest Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 I was supposed to go with Short -- we chartered a bus -- but of course got STREP THROAT a few days before, and then wrote letters about how he hated school and " wait till you see what I do to this school on the last day, " which got him sent to the principal's office. I was an absolute mess that week. A friend of mine took a picture of a Gerberding sign (with her pic) in the trash!! ...where she belongs! I know it's like the plague in our house when it hits, my oldest of our two injured boys has PANDAS. I'm really sorry that you weren't able to attend. Thanks for your excellent reporting! I am leaving for Disney tomorrow. I think the Sinus infections may have had something to do with DC.
