Guest guest
Yes Kim- literally in the middle of the road Interesting list of groups that support and don’t support the rally. I wonder was ASA thinks. The National group doesn’t support us- But some of the local chapters do. So- how do you guys feel about Suzanne marching? I’m very happy for . I always give her a BIG hug and thanks whenever I see her. But, I don’t know what I would say to Suzanne. I’m happy that she is going though. - AS and ASA are listed as non-supporters on the TACA site. I'm sure we'll find Suzanne walking precisely in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Guest guest
Kim— did they say they are not supporting or is it the lack of a response? - AS and ASA are listed as choosing not to support the rally on the TACA site. No response from either. Suzanne will be there. You'll find her dead straight in the middle of the road.... Guest guest
Yanno, when Mark is feeling amorous and I am feeling less than glamorous, I just keep vewwy vewwy quiet and hope he thinks I am sleeping. So no response can be a chicken shit response. I'm told that AS does have the rally listed on its site however. I never go over to the ASA site so I have no idea. From TACA: Those organizations NOT in support of this rally are: Autism Speaks Autism Society of America (National) Note: For three weeks we have requested their support and do not have their support of the rally and the efforts at this time. Will you please help us change their minds to helping make vaccines safe for all children? THANK YOU. > >> > > >> > > >> > No mention that Suzanne will be there supporting her daughter > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Autism Speaks has the rally info on their website.... - McCarthy and Jim Carrey Lead “Green Our Vaccines Rally” The Green Our Vaccines Rally, lead by celebrities McCarthy and Jim Carrey and sponsored by Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), Generation Rescue, HEAL Foundation and Moms Against Mercury, will be held on June 4 in Washington, D.C.. The event will begin with a march through the streets of the nation's capitol and conclude at a rally site in front of the Capitol Building. As stated on the rally website, the purpose of the event is to demand a reassessment of the mandatory childhood vaccine schedule. The organizers believe children are receiving “too many, too soon.” They feel vaccines are too toxic and they would like all toxins eliminated from children's vaccines. They believe a safer vaccine supply and schedule is possible. Visit the rally website here. Autism Speaks is committed to actively supporting research that explores all possible factors in the etiology (cause) of autism. We are working diligently with high ranking officials in our government to establish world class programs in vaccine safety research that encompass both basic and clinical science. We believe this to be the most effective course of action toward creating meaningful change. Click here to see Autism Speaks' statement on vaccine safety and research. Guest guest
No surprise. They may have Rally info on their site but what posted earlier from AS sounded just like a statement from the CDC to me too. I will always show support for , and can understand her wanting her mother there, but I hope that Suzanne has some good security. You never know how some emotional, hot, tired, parent will react to seeing her. And I'm NOT referring to myself! > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > No mention that Suzanne will be there supporting her > daughter > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I did see the rally promoted on the ASAnet newsletter I received a few days ago -- which is published by the national organization.
