Students with MRDD experience are welcome to apply. Candidates must have a flexible schedule, be available on weekends and evenings, and be willing to travel to different boroughs. Current Opportunities are as follows:1. Children With Special Needs - New Hyde Park LI 11 HOURS PER WEEK $40 PER HOURMusic Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work at a Children’s Early Learning Center. Work in a pre-school setting providing group therapy sessions to children with varied special needs including ASD, Speech language delays, and other developmental disabilities. 3 Days per week, morning hours, generally Mon, Wed, and Fri with some flexibility. Bachelors or Masters required, and Board Certified preferred. 2. Children in Acute Care Setting - Bronx NY 4 HOURS PER WEEK $40 PER HOURMusic Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work in a Bronx Medical Center providing individual therapy for children in an acute care unit. Sessions are every Tuesday from 10am to 2pm.
