Hi Folks,

The Physitrist (sp?) we saw said elastic stocking would help but the nurse

at the drug store said we need a perscription with the compresion noted. As

we were seeing another Dr. (pedriatist sp?) this week for arch supports we

asked him what to get. He asked how much her legs swell and as they don't

appear to swell at all or the difference is less than 1/2 inch. they won't

help. He said if the pooling wasn't swelling then maybe it was neural not

pooling? So I'm thinking that would be NMH?

The cardiologist eyes glaze over when ever I've asked about that in the

past. You know that look the doctors can get.... the one that makes you

think you suddenly started speaking in tongues and he's politly ignoring

your inapropriatness? LOL

I'm having trouble getting a doctor to figure this out and do something

about it. They say she has low blood pressure, rapid heart beat, veenal

pooling and low blood volume but no one has tested for any of this and I

don't even know what sort of tests to ask for. Does any one know about

this?

This symptom keeps Kate from having much of a life out of the house or off

the couch so

I wondered if others had any experiances or suggestions about this?

Thank you for you support. I may not write often but I really appreciate

reading this list. I don't feel quite so alone helping my daughter.

Jean
