Hi Art Therapy Community:

The Living Museum at Rockland Psychiatric Center in Orangeburg, NY, is currently

seeking interns for Fall 2011 - Spring 2012. The Living Museum is based on the

LM at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center and is an open art studio for adults with

mental illness who are transitioning back to some form of independent living

after many years of hospitalization. There is opportunity for group as well as

individual work and freedom to be creative and inventive. Staff is very

supportive. This is a perfect placement for first-year graduate students but

2nd-year students can combine working in the LM with some inpatient art therapy.

The internship also offers the potential to work with a deaf population.

Please contact: Randolph, ATR-BC, LCAT
