Guest guest
I have taken Lyrica for maybe 5 weeks now. I stayed away from tomato and acid food for the first few weeks and between the two I did feel better. Then I started introducing the tomatoes.. for one thing I went on Nutrisystem diet and it has a lot of tomatoes in it, for another I love tomatoes. I also had red bell peppers (are they a night shade just like green peppers?) Anyway, now I'm in a brand new flare. It may be a coincidence but it sure seems like its the tomatoes. Anne, what type of liquid calcium do you take now? I've been doing the Tums thing but I didn't see a difference (before or after tomatoes). I saw the doctor today and asked about Guaif and she said no, it wouldn't help more than the Lyrica and not to confuse the issue by combining meds. Of course, doctors always want you to take the prescription stuff... she wouldn' t even hear of prescribing the Entex LA for me. Anyway, no more tomatoes for me until this flare is over, then maybe I'll experiment again until I convince myself the hard way. Hey, I'm Italian, how can I give up tomatos? Does anyone here know about Candida cleansing.. does it help? I also had a blood test where I had elevated liver enzymes... does that go with Fibro by any chance? Guest guest
FibroFix is a combination treatment method. It works because it answers all aspects of the malfunction that causes the symptoms. Decongestant opens up our congested body. Guaifenesin (expectorant) helps excess and thickened Serous Fluids get out. If you are an Overly Acidic Fibro (80% of us are - and sounds like you are): NO Lemons, oranges, limes, kiwi, red cherries, pineapple, even cranberries and raisins. If it's an acidy fruit DON " T eat it. Not even cherry candy. NO Soft drinks. All of them. Clear, brown, or whatever. It's not the sugar or caffeine that gets us, it's the acid. Drink sweet tea with no lemon instead. NO Tomatoes in any form. Yes, liver health / enzymes have to do with Fibromyalgia. An enzyme called Hyaluronidase, which is processed in the liver, controls Hyaluronan. Hyaluronan is in our Serous Fluid and determines how thin or thick it is. The alkalizer I am using is a prescription formula made up by my compounding pharmacist. You can use those water alkalizing drops from a local health food store, or have your comp pharm call mine. You just have to adjust each part to your level of severity of symptoms. You can print off anything from the web site to keep handy. Remember, it's absolutely free; so is help by email or phone. We don't of any other way to reverse all symptoms of Fibromyalgia than this combination. Read every word of the web site. If you do what we do, you should get the same results we do. Guest guest
I was involved in the pregablin “lycria” drug study for fibro. I actually got kicked out of the study because my liver enzymes started going up and got pretty high. It was unfortunate for me as the drug was working and I was down to taking an occasional Tylenol for pain. Have them keep an eye on your liver enzymes. After going off Lycria it took about 1 ½ years or more to go back to a normal range. Guest guest
Think about those who will take this and other meds and not be under the constant monitoring of a medical study. Will they even know what is physically happening to their liver or what the alteration of enzymes does to other body parts and functions? I see a big push in Lyrica online. It is a great concern.
