Louise combines music/sound therapy theory and practice with elements of sensorimotor therapy and attachment/chakra theory. Integrating Eastern and Western therapeutic traditions, she will demonstrate techniques and present case examples of how to engage clients at the level of the body, mind, and emotions using music/sound as a self-reflecting, transformational tool during each of the three stages of trauma recovery. Special attention will be given to the concept "the voice belongs to the body" and how the body/voice relationship is crucial in healing past and present traumas. No musical background necessary.
