Alternatives to TB Skin Test

Hi all

My 12 yr son would like to participate in a volunteer activity. But that

city agency requires anyone volunteering to submit a TB clearance.

I've avoided all vaccinations for him since since his dx at age 3 &

for the school I have used the exception on the back of the

immunization form. But does this exemption apply for other agencies as

well or just the public schools?

How safe is the TB skin thing that they inject into your child's skin.

What are my alternatives to get the TB clearance without having to do

the standard skin test.
