Free Bartenieff Clinic in NYC and Intro to Bartenieff

Hello Everyone,

After a very successful Bartenieff Clinic in February, we now invite you to our second day of FREE BF Clinics on Friday, April 17th from 11am to 12:15 pm or 12:45 to 2 pm. These clinics are offered as part of the training for students in the Year-Long Certificate Program of the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies. Students are now in the second half of training in Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentals a system for observing and analysing movement that can be used therapeutically, creatively and in functional and communicative coaching. Sessions are supervised by LIMS Certification

Programs Faculty, all of whom are Certified Movement Analysts-CMAs.We are looking for people who are willing to be practiced on . . . all you have to do is make a reservation, come to the studio and let a student help you with any movement issue you might want to work on - posture & alignment or other movement challenges, improving skills needed for your favourite activities, etc. The sessions are movement oriented, and are done fully clothed. People from all walks of life are welcome.
