Due to relocating I will be leaving my job as an art therapist and child advocate at Domestic Abuse Services of Greenwich CT.

The hire date will be January 10th or possibly before in order to overlap with me before I my last day of January 19th, 2011. We are hoping for smooth transition. Interviews will begin asap.

The job is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with children and mothers recovering from history of domestic abuse . Work includes individual and/or family sessions. The job provides and requires a training for working with people who have experienced domestic abuse. The agency effectively serves clients whose needs range from short term crisis to longer term recovery. It is an unusual place that offers a range of services that include counseling, art therapy, body/mind work as well as community outreach, education & prevention.
