Guest guest
Hello List I have been chelating myself with ALA (1200mg taken at night) for about 3 months now. i think it is helping me but i have some queries i need to make. Do i still need fish oils? The reason i ask is my regular dose is making me irritable. i found this out by accident when i stopped taking the fish oils (but didnt adjust anything except swtich from no-phenol poweder to capsules), i felt much better. They do contain soya and sulphites. i am currently doing 1, gf/cf msg, aspartame, carrot, berries (except cranberry see item 5) and sweetner free diet 2, ginger root 550mg (for circulation) 3, ginkgo 250mg (for circulation) 4, no phenol 2 tablets taken one with each meal 5, GNC cranberry concentrate 2 tablets a day (should i take these with the no phenol tablets as they are highly phenolic). i am trying to prevent UTIs and antibiotic treatment. 6, Milk thistle 350mg 7, chelated calcium (999.9mg), maganesium (399.9mg), zinc (24.9mg) 8, b6 100mg 9, holland and barrett omega 3, 6 and 9, 2 capsules a day. This contains 440mg of ALA i have just noticed. Hopefully it wont make me feel sleepy, if it does can i take it at night? 9, flaxseed oil 1200mg ALA taken at night. 10, 5htp 100mg taken at night. As i am a 27 year old female, do i need to cut down or increase any of the above doses? is
