Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am Lorrie, I'm glad to see a group so dedicated to healing.I am sufferer also, since I was about 15years old I noticed things going wrong. Irritable bowl, ulcerative colitis, pnemonia, vertigo. Altho premature,I was unaware of may have had something to do with this.Anyway It started real bad after a near fatal car accident, where I was DOA at the trauma unit. Severlly crushed. I am very strong and was up and out in 8 days after acoma and recunstructive surgeries on my feet, now with sever pain. The pain was so severe,I was on pain meds constantly, now Im not. I try taking my live a few times hate to even wake up. But I kept going, 4years ago I was DOA of respatory failier, with lung surgery.I was told I had 2 years, that was 4 years ago. Along with the fibro,I did'nt think I could live. But I'm here. I have tried many types of relief, some have worked for awhile. But now I guess I tired of the fight. So I do take pain meds. But when Im out oh how I suffer. So this will be nice to hear of some other remedies, I still have'nt given up but Im soooo tired all the time,I have been dealing with this for almost 25 years, before there was ever a name for fibro, just tons of symptoms. So Im glad to be here, to let it go per say. Thanks Lorrie
Guest guest
Hi Lorrie, I hadn't heard that gluten was specifically bad for fms.....I thought it was just something weird with me. I used to eat wheat, and anything else, with no problems at all. I really miss my breads. I bought gluten free bread and it doesn't taste good. Maybe I just need to try a different brand or make my own. If you're interested in reading about glyconutrients, there's a bunch of stuff on the web about it. One of the sites is http://www.glycostory.com/.. The more I read about it, the more it starts making sense (as far as how the plant sugars work in our body). You were fortunate to have a grandmother who knew the old remedies. I know you must miss her; I sure wish I still had my grandmother, too.I love reading about how native people learned so much from nature. I guess everything we need is right here; we just have to learn how to find it and use it. Blessings and be well, Re: new member > Hi Peachynga: > > Thank you for the info on glyconutients, I have never heard of that, altho I do watch what I eat, I learned along time ago the gluten is extremley bad for FM. any and all breads I don't eat, except sour dough, it is the only breads that don't have gluten, flour has gluten so watch for it in muffins cakes etc. I cant tell if I do eat bread I flare up in my legs. Something Huh. > Well miricules are are bodies and I have healed lots of things mostly with old remedies that my indian grandmother taught me. wise woman. I miss her now she's gone, anyway thank you hope to talk again. > Lorrie
Guest guest
Hello Barb, I too had all my kids before I started all these probs too, however I did suffer bad bronchitus and hay fever as a child, but nothing at all as a teenager etc. My baby just turned 29 and my oldest turns 39 next week. Altitude, wrecked my sinuses, I had both ear drums burst in a high altitude ( alpine, holiday.) Had 5 ops over the following 3 years. all on ears. not sinus. But never looked back at sinus, as I got straight into keeping everywhere crisply clear, with use of eucalyptus oils, and teatree oils, but also all the leaves. I always have had a eucalypt tree in every home I have lived., have many here in my yard in Q, land too. Tea tree products and eucalyptus products are readily available here, I don,t know about other countries. Sandy T ( sillysandy)
