Guest guest
I find that the a/b's work the best, but sometimes those and the steroids work wonders together. I agree with you though, I don't like to take too many steroids because they are so hard on your body. Whenever I tell my doc I have a bug whether they can find it or not, she starts me on a/b's right away. That usually loosens up what is way down in there (where the little bugs are hiding) and then I can give them a better sputum sample. I'm glad to hear things are improving for you. a Belling UNMC Department of Surgery 983280 Nebraska Medical Center Omaha, NE 68198-3280 (402)559-6784 (phone) (402)559-6749 (fax) " junefraser2002 " <junefraser@... om> To bronchiectasis 12/16/2004 08:21 cc AM Subject Input needed Please respond to bronchiectasis@ya hoogroups.com Hi everyone, need your thoughts and advice re my negative sputum tests. After being really ill for some weeks I decided to put myself on Tetracycline on Monday. (had some in reserve which GP gave me before)Low and behold today Thursday I am improving leaps and bounds, gunk is now white instead of brown and much thinner so I can now cough up and clear my lungs. I am not having nearly such bad asthma actually am sleeping through the night. I just feel so much better I can't believe it . I've also reduced my steroids to 2 just to prove to myself they are not the answer though I'm supposed to increase to 6 daily next week for more lung function tests. Tina, I know you said you went through all this with Jonathon, I just now want to prove to the doctors treating me that what I've maintained all along is that antibiotics help me more than anything. Because the sputum tests says no bug I don't think they believe me. Kept a huge diary of everything to prove to them that my peak flow improves no end when I'm on A/B's. Can anyone suggest what I do now. I don't claim I knnow more than the docs but I just know I'm on the right track. Guest guest
June, Barb's advice was excellent. I keep a daily log of my temperatures and peak flows. That is the first thing that my pulmonologist's nurse asks me when I call indicating that I am having a problem. I had a bronchoscopy after my second bout of walking pneumonia and after my primary care doctor finally referred me to a pulmonologist after my requesting a referral many times. The bronchoscopy did not bother me as I have had several endoscopies and colonscopies, brilateral breast cancer surgery with reconstruction, two broken bones and surgery to align the bones. My primary care doctor said that he came by to see me after the procedure but that I had already left. I awoke quite quickly after the procedure and did not think that the procedure was uncomfortable as I was not awake during the procedure. I coughed a little when I returned home, but much less than I did prior to the procedure. My culture showed few pseudomonas cells and indicated which antibiotics it was most sensitive to. I still think that in my situation that my sinuses were the source of my lung problems. I hope that the diary will help your doctor to be able to help you more. Guest guest
June, I’ve also had problems with negative cultures. The explanation that was given to me was that antibiotics kill off enough of the bacteria so that nothing grows in the culture—even if I hadn’t taken any for quite some time. A bronchoscopy was the only way they could get stuff from deep enough to grow a culture. It was also the way my first pulmonologist found the lung damage in the first place although I think that he suspected that this was the problem. He also told me that the infection tends to sit in the damaged areas and you can’t always cough it out. It really isn’t a surprise to many of us that you can’t get a culture to grow. I was also told to keep a diary like you are doing. My doctor mainly wanted me to take my temperature in the morning and at night to monitor when an infection was starting. He wanted to know if specific antibiotics were working and, if so, how long it was before another infection started. Maybe you should print out some of our responses and take them to your next appointment. Since the doctors don’t seem to see this problem very often, yours might be interested to know how others are being treated. When my first pulmonologist wasn’t able to keep the infections under control (and didn’t seen any alternatives to surgery), he sent me for a second opinion. The second doctor was very optimistic for another year and a half but finally recommended surgery. Hope this helps a little. Guest guest
Thanks Tina, I wish they could explain why this is but the antibiotics thin the mucus so I can cough up! How often does have antibiotic therapy, is it just for infections or as a preventative measure? > June, > All I can tell you is that 's Doctor said that even though he > may not grow anything form the sputem antibiotics will often help. > No reasons or explanations it just happens! > Hugs > > > > Tina Hillier Mum to , 14 years old and possesor of an Extra > Special Chromosome. Guest guest
Barb, thanks that is really helpful, I've printed your reply out to take to Brompton on 5th January. I had not thought about logging my temperature, I'll start that tomorrow. Sometimes I just run a slight temperature but other days I have a roaring fever, red cheeks and burning hot and then cold. My hubby always knows by my face when I'm feverish. The improvement with A/B's is dramatic so I know I'm on the right track. Last time I went 6 weeks without them and was so ill it took me a couple of weeks on Tetracycline to recover. That was my ninth clear sputum test!!!!I'm wondering if I should ask for an on/off regime of anti b's to see if that helps? I'm really anxious about having a Broncoscophy and surgery will not help as my damage is top and bottom of right lung, I'm running out of options here. Guest guest
Hi Norma, lovely to hear from you. I'm really nervous about a Broncoscophy because some people say you are awake and it's awful. I'm not the world's greatest patient as I get anxious and have asthma attacks when undergoing any new procedure! Going to buy an accurate thermometer today and start yet another chart! Guest guest
June, Those are the exact symptoms I was having - freezing cold one minute, burning hot sweats the next, barely able to function at all. They weren't able to get a culture from me for awhile, but when they finally did - they found my Moraxella catarrhalis. I also lost my voice for two days with this. They are treating me with zythromax and I'm finally feeling like I can function again. After you take those antibiotics for a few days, try giving them a culture again - maybe you'll get something from deeper down. Hope this helps. a Belling UNMC Department of Surgery 983280 Nebraska Medical Center Omaha, NE 68198-3280 (402)559-6784 (phone) (402)559-6749 (fax) June Fraser <junefraser@... om> To bronchiectasis 12/16/2004 06:03 cc PM Subject Re: Input needed Please respond to bronchiectasis@ya hoogroups.com Barb, thanks that is really helpful, I've printed your reply out to take to Brompton on 5th January. Guest guest
Good Afternoon Don, We had to stop in Hays one time driving back from Colorado as we had a bad tire. My husband has a friend at the college there. My neighbors just left for a ski trip to Frisco, Colorado. She plans to stay with her mother who lives near Hays while her husband and sons ski. I believe her husband is from Cody. We stopped there once while driving back from Colorado. Yes, I know exactly where 83rd Street in Lenexa is located. You bring back fond memories of Kansas City. I really enjoyed living there. Please let me know what you or your wife use for the sinus rinse when you have time. Thanks, Norma

Guest guest
Good morning Norma- Sure hope you're able to get your sinuses figured out soon. My wife has an awful lot of problem with hers, so I at least have some idea of what you're going through. We live in a little town on Kansas highway 18 in County. The name is Luray and we're about 75 miles north and west of Salina. Also about 50 miles or so north and east of Hays. Right in the heart of what they call Post Rock country and the Smokey Hills. Our town has only about 200 people but they are the best friends and neighbors you could imagine. It's very quiet around here which suits the heck out of us. We really don't like freeways, shopping malls, etc. I'm pretty familiar with the Lenexa/Kansas City area as I am from KC and have a lot of family there. Also, my sister lives on 83rd street in Lenexa. Take care of yourself. Thanks for letting me here from you. Guest guest
a surely 2 days is not long enough to knock the bugs out? I usually have 7 days on and that works for me. When I was put on 3 weeks anti b's I found they stopped working after 10 days. I hope you avoid hospital especially at Xmas. Sounds like we have similar problems here, do you have asthma too? > > > > > Each time 2 days and completely a mess again. Guest guest
I thought you were asking me how many days between a/b's before I was sick again and that answer to that question was two days (actually a little less than 48 hours). I was on this last a/b for 6 days before I was truly able to function again. Guest guest
Seems like we are in the same boat a, it's uncanny how many things we share. I had asthma all my life no problem until 2 years ago when Bronch was diagnosed. My present asthma regime is Symbicort, Prednisolone, Bricanyl and nebulised Atrovent and Ventolin. None of that does as much good as good old anti b's! Like you as soon as I come off anti b's I start to go back down hill very quickly. I was hoping to get inhaled Antibiotic this time but because my culture didn't grow anything they wouldn't give it to me! > > > > > I thought you were asking me how many days between a/b's before I was > sick > again and that answer to that question was two days (actually a > little less > than 48 hours). Guest guest
--- i would be realy interewted to see the remedy of edgar cayce in action the fumes of apple brandy for an oak keg which has been charred drawn into the lungs many good reports Hi For you some very valuable health information Please evaluate carefully There is a lot that may be done to prevent illness ,suggest making a hard copy of this if you are serious and a reading of it as a line by line approach as consideration of this material at hand. Millions of people have benefited from this information , proper evaluation of this information is essential. But there is also quite a bit to understand too, of course i cannot promise any quick fixes. I share info around the framework of the research of Edgar cayce ,this is generally a multifaceted approach used by thousands of doctors and healers. It very often requires persistence and consistency with the applications. Cayce research found there are common causes for disease these are Poor assimilation's-the ability of your body to use the food you give it Poor elimination's- the most cited cause of problems which cayce identified-the ability of your body to rid itself of toxins , through the skin ,through the intestines, through the breath ,through the kidneys and bladder. If any of these pathways are not working properly you will have a build up of toxic poisonous wastes .You can imagine what that means. This means that detoxing usually with a 3 day apple diet ,massage, enemas , colonics etc Diet – in almost every case Cayce research advised altering and changing what people eat. Such is the importance of what we eat and the effect that has on us. The body must have the correct acid/alkaline balance to fend off disease etc. Spinal lesions and other problems –nothing to do with you feeling pain in your spine ,- maintaining proper nerve pathways to the organs ,glands which can have major effects on us like diabetes , blindness, in fact a whole host of other problems not even considered to day by the general practice. Imbalance of the circulation systems –circulation is vital Glandular malfunction- these do some pretty fantastic things to us ,problems with these are serious usually Karma –meeting the results of your own actions which you did in the past Attitudes-the reaction on your body to the attitudes which you have Infections These are called the principles of health which you will find covered on my web site http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/seventhmoon/orion/ all are important So you can see this therapy will involve change very very often ,building new dietary habits, attitudes ,often voluntary work etc and one must be willing to change. Recommend reading- testimonies and research first this is a small sample of the huge benefits which have been obtained. After that on my web site there are the cayce principles of health , each seem to be important and covers things like diet ,nutrition ,attitude, karma, etc these should be followed Next have a look at the impact of water and particularly the web site mentioned have a very interesting article. Have included some info on cancer prevention -i feel all should be aware of and also something on arthritis general Next bit can be interesting -karma therapy and believe me if you follow this and apply it -real healing can take place much faster On links on my web site the meridian institute did some research and i believe all who followed the protocol improved. Have a look Joining the A.R.E. IN VIRGINIA BEACH is a very good move http://www.areclinic.org/default.asp as is the A.R.E. CLINIC http://www.areclinic.org/articles.asp?ArticleID=10 & src=m Getting the 2 books is vital These two must have books on the medical side which give the treatments, the causes and the philosophy of the healing of his work are The Encyclopaedia of Healing by Reba Ann Karp ISBN 0-446-30981-8 This is a condensed version of the readings giving causes and cures and some feed back from people using the treatments -Valuable The Edgar Cayce Handbook for Health through Drugless therapy by Hugh Lynn Cayce Harold Reilly and Ruth Hagy Brod ISBN 0-02-601960-4 Harold reillys 43 years of experience of working with the readings the results he, got the treatments he gave- a very valuable book So i am sending you what really amounts to a very informative book applicable to just about everyone ,very valuable for the foreseeable future . Hope you use it well -and share it Also at the cayce center there is a file of over 350 different ailments which you can get hold of Testimonies and research When People speak about their condition and tell of the benefits which they have found by employing the treatments one can only feel humbled. These are just a few of the many thousands of comments which have been made .Sometimes the therapies have been literally a life saver bringing people back from the point of death, sometimes out of a life of years of misery and suffering, they area all interesting reading. Cayce research testimonies The meridian research institute located in Virginia beach is run by a team of doctors have researched and have tested the cayce information on such things as MS, Parkinsons,Psoriasis,Migraine,Epilepsy,Chronicfatigue,Asthma,Arthriti s,Hypertensio,,Bowel disease,Anemia,Irritable bowel syndrome. Their results which can be found on their web site bear testimony to the cayce readings their web address is meridianinstitute.com/ For instance all who followed the cayce treatment on MS improved in just a few months. Their Parkinson's project also showed encouraging results with slight to moderate improvements in as little as four months , it was noted that no one was following perfectly the cayce protocol , a follow up report after one year still saw improvements being made. Their psoriasis project was a total success .Their migraine project also was a success with 4out of five people showing significant improvements. Their epilepsy project had one person who consistently followed the treatment , he was the person who showed major improvements. Their chronic fatigue project also showed improvements to people those following the protocol closely gaining the most. The A.R.E.clinic located in phoenix and Tucson Arizona was formed in 1970 and have literally treated thousands of people.Their web address is arescott.tripod.com/ And they are located at 4018n 40th St Phoenix Arizona Tel 602 955 0551 walsh at the cayce centre in Durham used to suffer with stuttering for years by employing the cayce remedies, which included spinal adjustments, he no longer has the impediment any more. A woman in her forties says: " I came to the A.R.E. Clinic in severe pain after being released from the hospital (in severe pain) with a very full and irritable bowel. I could barely walk, and was nervous, but Sandy [an A.R.E. Clinic colonic therapist] took my hand and told me that everything was going to be all right. I had the first colonic and felt so much better, even though Sandy told me that most of what was expelled was gas. " Over the next few weeks I had eight colonics and would follow up at home with the castor oil and heat treatments [castor oil packs]. I was back to work in four days and would have the colonics after work. I felt great, as if I had never had a problem. " I work in a hospital and am sad to say that the hospital was unable to help me at all - in fact [they] probably slowed my bowel down further with pain medication. " I'm a believer! " A woman in her seventies says: " I was hospitalized with pneumonia in late 1996. My blood oxygen was low, about 83 when I entered the hospital and 87 when I left. They gave me an oxygen tank when I left. " Later I was diagnosed with emphysema. " In May, 1998, I became very sick. I had asthma, labored breathing, and nausea. My blood oxygen was about 87-88. One of my doctors said the nausea came from constipation, and suddenly I realized that there was a connection between my chronic constipation and my respiratory illness. I had visited Dr. McGarey many years before and he had recommended dietary changes and a castor oil pack, and now I truly understood their purpose! " So I put myself on a vegetable and fruit diet, and on May 18 I had my first colonic at the A.R.E. Clinic. On May 21, my blood oxygen level was 89, and by May 22 my arterial blood oxygen was 93. I had two more colonics, and on June 11 my blood oxygen was 93 or 94. I had three more colonics, and my blood oxygen went up to 94 or 95. " I am continuing to use the Cayce diet, which was recommended to me, and I am continuing to receive therapies at the A.R.E. Clinic. I have discontinued almost all of my medications. My condition is still improving. " Vocal Chord Polyp a man in his 40's says: " Sometime in February of 1997 I was experiencing extreme hoarseness after talking for any length of time. One day I covered my mouth to sneeze and looked into my hand to find a small piece of skin. I decided then I should probably see a doctor. In March of 1997 I went to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist. Using mirrored instruments to look down my throat he determined I had a polyp on my vocal chord. The doctor prescribed Prednisone for about a week along with Prilosec. I took these drugs but to no avail. On April 16, 1997, I went in for surgery to have the polyp removed. The polyp was returned from pathology stating that it was non-malignant (non- cancerous). After surgery I continued to take Prilosec because the doctor suspected Gastroesophageal Reflux (GERD). In July of 1997 I notice the hoarseness returning. The hoarseness continued to become more severe and was interfering with my ability to work. I elected to have surgery again in November of 1997. The polyp was again removed and was again non-malignant. The polyp again returned by February 1998. The doctor suggested I see another doctor who specialized in this particular kind of malady. I went to this specialist and after looking at the polyp and talking to me about ten minutes he told me there was nothing he or anyone else could do and suggested I try the Internet. I was charged $230.00 for this visit. " The doctor who sent me to the specialist received the report back from the specialist and suggested I be tested for GERD. I agreed. (What a sucker.) The Gastroenterologist check for this suspected culprit. The test consisted of being mildly anesthetized and having a tube slide down your throat which takes pictures and removes small pieces of your stomach to be analysed for GERD. The second part of this procedure consisted of having a tube slid through your nose and down your throat into your stomach and left there for 24 hours. This was no fun and the results yielded what I suspected. No GERD. My stomach acids and reflux were normal. " I did take the advice of the one doctor and began my search on the Internet. I had read a few books about Edgar Cayce and began my search in this area. I found the A.R.E. Clinic and called for a consultation. On March 19, 1998, Grady [an A.R.E. Clinic health counselor] provided me with a plan of treatment using neck exercises, castor oil, the violet ray, and improved thought processes. I was skeptical at first, but I had nothing to lose. I followed the suggested course of treatment and gradually began to improve. After approximately four months I noticed I was speaking normally again. I have not gone back to the doctor to see if the polyp is still there. It may very well be there, but I know I am able to speak normally again and don't have any burning desire to pay to find out if the polyp still exists. " I would recommend a consultation at the A.R.E. Clinic to anyone struggling to cure an ailment. You will save yourself a considerable amount of money and be provided with a treatment that encompasses body, mind, and soul. " the dog's owner says: " My dog is 10 years old. She had severe colitis. After several trips to the vet - which included a 3 day stay - she was still out of control. Her stools were black from internal bleeding and it looked like we were going to lose her. " I put her into a castor oil pack and laid her on an old blanket at the end of the bed. In the morning when I took her out she had the first normal stool she'd had in a week. " I continued the packs and taught my vet how to apply them. Topaz [the dog] is alive and well. " The vet told her mother about [the castor oil packs] and called to thank me - she says her mother swears by them. " Castor Oil Packs Relieve Acid Reflux Disease - 2 " I've been to various doctors for almost 1 year now and not many have been listening to me. Not one doctor has confirmed that I could have dizziness and heart palpitations associated with this disease. After several months of searching for the answer to why I was feeling so bad I was finally diagnosed with acid reflux. " I was put on Prilosec and tolerated it well for 4 weeks. My 5th week presented a severe reaction but not as severe as the Axid that I was put on next. Unable to eat, sleep or function because of my pain and dizziness I started to self medicate. " I began buy using Castor oil packs and changing my diet. By the time a specialist was able to see me I was at least able to eat dairy products and the pain was somewhat diminished. " Posting this information on the web is a tremendous help to others like me who can't get help and relief from conventional medicine. Knowing how long and when to use the Castor Oil packs recommended from the Clinic has made me feel more at ease on how I can help myself with this problem should it reoccur. " Thanks so much! " A Case History on Lupus Erythematosus The A.R.E. Clinic has treated several patients for lupus erythematosus, with varying results. Some patients have had all their symptoms disappear, while others may find that some symptoms or tendencies persist. What follows is an account of what was probably the A.R.E. Clinic's first experience in the treatment of lupus according to the suggestions given in the Edgar Cayce readings. " This case history concerns a 63 year old woman who had been diagnosed as having lupus erythematosus in 1955 and was treated for it at the ARE Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. She displayed advanced skin symptoms along with fever, headaches, insomnia, muscular infirmity, anemia, and leukopenia. " At the clinic, she received massage therapy and osteopathic manipulations. Additionally, she was given a therapy program to follow when she returned home, which included internal doses of Atomidine, Epsom salt baths, Wet Cell treatments, a special diet, exercises, and castor oil packs. She was also counseled to adopt a constructive attitude. " Later, in a letter, the woman expressed the feeling that the change in attitude was instrumental in the healing she had experienced. During her visits to the clinic, she developed a new understanding of the disease, accompanied by a sense of faith that a cure was possible. " Her next medical checkup found that she no longer had lupus. Doctors confirmed that although it was evident that she had once had the disease, it was no longer visible on her body. She expressed faith that the same power which had helped cure her lupus could also relieve the aches and pains that remained where the disease had damaged her body. " A lady of about 40 was told by three specialists that she had to have her gall bladder removed ,In despair she turned to cayce who in turn sent her to reillys , she was prescribed – no operation instead colonics, drainage massage and castor oil packs. After about six visits the pain subsided. The gall bladder remained where it should be inside of her and no gallstones. This lady was one of hundreds sent to reillys at his health spa where he treated all manor of ailments. A lab scientist wrote to cayce and described all of his symptoms which included trouble with the following parts liver stomach, intestines, prostrate, skin, throat sinus, gums, hair falling rapidly, daily headaches, earaches, rheumatism, all of which led this poorman to state of nervousness. His weight was decreasing all the time . Cayce diagnosis was summed up in one word Toxemia The man was referred to the reilly health service, high enemas, massage,Cabinet sweat baths,Dietary changes were all prescribed- a great many of symptoms were alleviated. Another 28 yr old women suffering from tilted stomach and incoordination of the nervous system, a miscarriage and a bad allergy .Cayce prescribed osteopathic adjustments and general dietary changes, a couple of weeks at the reilly clinic being treated with elimination treatments and the cayce diet, she improved enough to carry through a successful pregnancy. A man in his thirties suffering from Leukemia went to reillys for treatment and each time after the treatment he kept improving, the treatment consisted of ultraviolet light through the green glass but as soon as he got well he left for places unknown. Another little boy of about five suffered from incoordination of the nervous system, this showed up with crossed eyes defective hearing, retarded growth, insomnia, and extreme susceptibility to colds. Improvement was gradual but steady throughout the following year. A few years elapsed and the mother wrote that her son had perfect vision, hearing normal and is in good health. Another man in his mid forties who had his left side paralyzed, cayce prescribed the impedance device, manipulation and passive exercise six weeks later the man wrote that their had been many minor signs of improvement. A lady who had a paralyzed arm was advised that surgery was necessary, the lady questioned cayce about this and was told that surgery would be harmful rather than helpful, cayce prescribed general massage with certain specific oils after a sweat and shower with diathermy treatments. After the second or third treatment cayce told them that the conditions should virtually eliminated. A 43 yr old lady had been to three hospitals and had seen many doctors and had been told that her symptoms were closest to lupus erythematous and the only treatment recommended was rest she had been doing this for months with no improvement.Cayce described her symptoms which she confirmed rash, nausea, headache, weakness poor elimination, and disturbances with the sensory organs. The trouble said cayce that the normal elimination channels were impeded and that toxins were coming out through the skin , treatment included application of the short-wave appliance to empty the gall bladder and massage and some internal doses of lactated pepsin in half a teaspoon of bismuth in one half to three quarters of water .There was a large element of emotional and mental strain due in effect from her husband this she felt had caused the problem in the first place. A lady of 50 who had four strokes and was suffering from high blood pressure, menopause problems, extreme edema, pain in her left arm phlebitis in her left leg and film over her eyes. She said that the doctors did not agree what was causing the pain and that no one had been able to help. She sits up for some of each night just with the pain. Cayce outlined the diet for the diabetes with plenty of Jerusalem artichokes and colinics with salt and soda followed by glcothymoline to correct the prolapses in the colon that cayce found as one of the core issues within her illness. Gentle massages and corrections to the third cervical through to the upper dorsal were recommended. Reilly states that the blood pressure came down from 230 to 150 where no medical doctor she had seen had done this, reilly also reduced the edema and the phlebitis.Reilly states that over the years they had great success with reducing high blood pressure and controlling edema with massage all from cayce. A lady of 35 had been suffering from psoriasis for 22 yrs since she was thirteen, cayce recommended colonics showers, through rub down saffron tea, milk of bismuth, and elixir of lactated pepsin in water and after three months violet ray treatment was to begin. The patient wrote I already feel less fatigued and considerably more ease of body, it is wonderful. There are times when words fall short of our feelings and in wanting to thank you Mr. cayce, this is one of those times. A girl of about eleven years old, when her parents heard about cayce, they got the file on psoriasis from the ARE and went to work, with persistent effort they found an osteopath who administer the treatments and persisted in getting the rest of the treatment in place, after about three months the child was completely cured and never had a recurrence of the disease. A 50 yr old man who, lived in Massachusetts he was suffering from the effects of working in very cold conditions and got a permanent condition of cold in his back which affected his hearing, he also suffered heart problems breathlessness headaches and loss of memory. Cayce recommended hydrotherapy treatments including dry heat fume baths, massages and at least two colonics. His wife was helping him with the treatments and was getting good results in a very short time. A young women of about 30 whose legs had been paralyzed from the age of one who used crutches and clumsy braces in order to walk, cayce prescribed the use of the wet cell appliance, massage and the heat cabinet. In three months she could stand-alone and in two years following she was using braces from the knee down and canes to keep her balance. Women of 55 suffering from uterine tumors and insomnia, cayce recommended a series of twenty to twenty five hydrotherapy treatments under DR reillys direction. She wrote my recovery has been excellent I attribute this to DR reillys seventeen treatments I managed to bet in. A forty-eight yr old lady was suffering from glaucoma who was been given treatment by DR coulter an osteopathic physician and DR reilly who was giving hydrotherapy and massage. DR coulter wrote that the improvement was astounding, her pain was greatly relieved and she acted like a different person. A lady of about 53 was advised by a surgeon to have a major hysterectomy immediately. Kahn prevailed on his friend to consult cayce before surgery .Cayce prescribed two periods of atomidine, a pine oil fume bath , a full massage, and some osteopathic adjustments for six to eight weeks .He also advised pelvic douches and a diet that avoided fried food white bread potatoes and red meat .DR Kahn wrote cayce a few months later stating that she is 100 per cent cured . The women never had the urgent operation. Cayce prescribed heavily the use of Atomidine, in 1933 a questionnaire was sent out to several thousand physicians and dentists who had tested Atomidine clinically. These are the results Cases favorable Negative Decided results results Physicians report Gastrointestinal disorders 540 494 46 High blood pressure 1029 978 51 Acute infections 515 483 32 Throat infections 1155 1122 33 Diseases of the urinary tract 691 614 77 Iodine deficiency diseases 583 558 25 Asthenic conditions 231 140 91 Topical applications 1369 1332 37 Syphilis 3 3 Influenza 53 53 Bronchitis 15 15 Rheumatoid arthritis 1 1 Pneumonia 2 2 Malaria 2 2 Goiter 2 2 Pleurisy 1 1 Dentists report Pyorrhea 2296 2145 151 's angina 884 821 63 Dental post operative cases 8787 8714 73 Gingivitis sore gums 26 26 Antrum 1 1 Total 18186 17507 69 And so it goes on, these are just a small sample of the many thousands of testimonials available. Up to the time these headaches started I was a perfectly healthy, normal person - I have always been athletic, and very active, and now I find life almost intolerable, never knowing at what time my plans will have to be changed, because of a headache - and having to think constantly of my health, & live almost like an invalid. When I heard of Mr. Cayce, through my brother [1568], and of the marvelous way in which he had diagnosed and cured his trouble, I immediately wrote to request a reading. I am hoping that Mr. Cayce's advice to me will be as beneficial as it was to my brother - and I shall let you know of the progress that I am sure I will make under his direction. My general condition is much better, although each week I have been spending the greater part of one day in bed with nausea and light migraine attack. Last week I increased the number of castor oil packs from two to three and this week I am doing the same. The day after I use the packs, I feel pretty punk and my mouth tastes like I had eaten up all of the bill-goat's tin cans. However, today the taste has been more 'brassy' than 'tinny'! So I judge from that, that the packs have done quite a bit of stirring up the poisons. High colonics (at home) have given me a great deal of comfort. See also http://www.edgarcayce.org/health/database/chdata/index.html on more studies and application tips –very valuable Particular attention should be made to the audio on the web sites mentioned .This is some of the info which we are not being told about largely because of ignorance, apathy or vested interest from certain drug companies ---your doctor in the main is told what to prescribe by these people very few doctors have the time to do any research- did you know that?. Helpful arthritis information on prevention and alleviation For research purposes only I do not sell anything – for the poor old cynics amongst you, This information is derived from the Edgar cayce research readings and from using it at the Edgar cayce clinic, from numerous reports from people who have tried this and from a Dr who has been using this kind of information with considerable success treating thousands of people for over 43 yrs. The Orion project is an information sharing resource funded privately, which sells nothing and is there for the sharing of information which is of huge value. This is totally different from being prescribed just drugs where there are huge profits to be made often at the expense of the patients well being. I would like to share with you some information, which has been useful on the subject of arthritis, this information is derived from the Edgar cayce research readings and from using it at the Edgar cayce clinic As you can imagine a good diet is essential in maintaining good health, emphasis was on fresh vegetables often eaten raw or grated to gain the maximum amount of goodness into you and fruits whole grains and light proteins. Before trying this CHECK YOU DO NOT HAVE ALLERGYS TO NUTS Peanut oil was highly recommended and many were told to almost bathe in it, to be given externally, work into the joints, the neck, across the clavicle, the spine, over the stomach, in fact just about every where. This is to be done once a week or more. Numerous reports also followed over its use. One chap says that he has found it not only lubricates but also heals and had he had this information he would have spared much misery. Another lady says that with constant use of the oil she can keep her wedding ring other wise her finger enlarges. Another report from a doctor says that with his arthritic patient, first results were an increase in vitality and elimination. Castor oil is also used on any arthritic, rheumatic, or muscular and joint pain as unction. Basically an infra red lamp is placed 12-18 inches from the part to be massaged. Apply the castor oil on the painful area and let the lamp warm it and this will help the oil to penetrate the skin, this done for about 5-10 mins. Then keep rubbing with the fingers and hand until the oil is worked in. Keep putting more oil on and massaging continued for 10-60 mins. Massage was also very helpful, to be given usually after another treatment such as an Epsom salt bath prepared by dissolving at least 5lbs in a typical bath and immersing for a period of time. Oils used for the massage were equal parts of olive oil and peanut oil use the oils freely and as much as the body could absorb. Also done was Improvements to the elimination process within the body, the most frequent methods were castor oil packs, enemas, colonics, and eno salts. Elimination is the ability of the body to get rid of toxins. A very important and Essential ability in helping just about all conditions. The research said those people, which undertook a peanut oil massage/rub each week need never fear arthritis. Apparently cold pressed oils are best not chemically extracted. Where there is crippling of the joints of the hands, pain of arthritis or inflammation of the tendons considerable relief can be found by using an Epsom salt bath and massage. Use a large quantity of the salts about 1 pound in the water though, not just a spoon full. Soak the affected area for about 5 mins and then massage the affected area under water, rotate the joints and soak again for another 5-10 mins. A lady who could not even close her hand, reported after two weeks of the salts and massage she could then close them. Another lady reports that soaking in Epsom salts then applying the oil gave her the best results. Pain seems to ease immediately and use of the effected parts returns far more rapidly than ever before. The oil had also relieved paralysis, which some poor man had on his left side. Another lady in her 80s reports says the oil is the only thing, which keeps her arthritic knees. The research states that those people who eat 3-5 almonds each day need never fear getting cancer ,this could well collaborate with vitamin b17 therapy derived from various sources including apricot kernels being used to treat cancer. Have a listen to the audio at this web site http://www.worldwithoutcancer.org.uk/index.html for more info on B17 Further information on other ailments will be found at my web site http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/seventhmoon/orion/ or you can e mail me on pho@... for further information on other ailments dealt with by cayce research which I believe total over 350 from stuttering to Parkinson's. like to go on our Do copy and share this information For research purposes only on cancer This information is derived from the Edgar cayce research readings and many other reputable sources and from using it at the Edgar cayce clinic, from numerous reports from people who have tried this and from the thousands of Doctors who have been using this kind of information with considerable success some for over 43 yrs. the Orion project is an information sharing resource funded privately, which sells nothing and is there for the sharing of information which is of huge value. This is a totally different set up from being prescribed just drugs where there are huge profits to be made often at the expense of the patients well being even sometimes misery. There is a lot which can be done to ward off cancer and there areas in the world where cancer does not even exist ,and what you eat can very much affect how and if you get it, this is to be kept firmly in mind . According to the Edgar cayce research information anti-tumour action was known empirically for many years, but in the last thirty five years has been scientifically proven, primarily through the clinical studies directed by well respected metabolic physicians around the world. Among them are Dr. Ernesto Contreras , of the Oasis of Hope Hospital (Formerly Centro Medico y Hospital Del Mar at Playas de Tijuana, B.C.N. Mexico); Quite clearly stated is that anyone who eats 4-or so almonds a day need never fear cancer this was stated many years ago. There are now studies clearly indicating helpful effects Well vitamin B17 is within almonds ,and apparently is within the diet of those people in the world where there is no cancer. Typically our western diet does not have much b17 at all within it . According to Dr. Krebs, we need a minimum of 100 mg of vitamin B-17 (the equivalent of about seven apricots seeds) too nearly guarantee a cancer free life. Foods that contain vitamin B-17 are particularly within apricot kernals and SEEDS OF FRUIT: The highest concentration of vitamin B- 17 to be found in nature, aside from bitter almonds. Apple, apricot, cherry, nectarine, peach, pear, plum, prune. BEANS: broad (Vicia faba), burma, NUTS: Bitter almond, macadamia, cashew. BERRIES: Almost all wild berries. Blackberry, chokeberry, Christmas berry, cranberry, elderberry, raspberry, strawberry. SEEDS: Chia, flax, sesame. GRAINS: oat groats, barley, brown rice, buckwheat groats, chia, flax, millet, rye, vetch, wheat berries. bamboo shoots, It has been clearly stated that anyone having cancer will also benefit hugely from taking B17 though the dose needs to be higher. Have a listen to the audio at this web site http://www.worldwithoutcancer.org.uk/index.html http://credence.org/testimon/testimonhope.htm http://credence.org/testimon/testimonrich.htm for more info on B17, the drug companies do not want you to have this information because it will affect their profits .The drug companies tell the doctors in the main what to prescibe-did you know that?. There are billions of pounds being made through cancer and if there is a cheap form of preventing cancer many companies would go bust and you better believe some of these companies will do all many derisory things to ensure this does not happen and you do not get the information you require . Of course Mental constructive purposeful attitudes are to be cultivated in all that are sick and injured. Your Mind can either build you or sleigh you.As you can imagine a good diet is essential in maintaining good health, emphasis was on fresh vegetables often eaten raw or grated to gain the maximum amount of goodness into you and fruits whole grains and light proteins. Other avenues that have shown considerable promise are The Edgar cayce research readings –using the application of animated carbon ash and the ultraviolet light has also been shown to of great value..The light taken after the ash will cause the ash to clarify through the releasing of oxygen in the blood stream by being centered on the portion of the lungs affected and the adjacent tissues. Another avenue to dig into is the work of noted scientist Dr Rife ,just type in the words rife in your search engine on the Internet . Also as ever Spiritual healing has been shown to be of huge and extreme benefit in many illnesses, as millions have testified, this can also help those who are just about to pass to the other side of life From my research and inspiration I have led to a concept called karma and this seems to be the only thing stopping us from achieving , health wealth and happiness . i am currently writing a book on this which I will send to anyone free of charge Karma therapy The orion project is for the Sharing of information . This information some of which has actively been submerged by vested interest parties more concerned with profit/power rather than your health . Following the principles outlined in the Orion project will lead you to real wealth=health. One of the most powerfull allies to any person is to know about karma therapy for if you understand this you can even Avoid getting health wealth happiness problems Or if you currently have problems in those areas Give you the most effective tool, which I have come across to help you alleviate them. This is the tool Its The value of giving Putting something or some service into society is one of the most transforming tools with which we all benefit . The value of it is much higher than we can possibly know and it should be included as part of everyone's health program. The giver may ask how will helping others help my health and me! That is a very good question, which is very worthy of a serious amount of thought. This touches on the concept which is called karma . For if one truly wants to live with the great allies of Health, wealth, happiness, Love and all those effects which one values one should really understand this concept. It is the only thing, which explains the apparent randomness of the effects, which come upon people. Effects are all aspects of health, Wealth, Richness, [note these two are separate] Happiness etc. What is karma? Put simply it is the law of cause and effect. Or put as another way as you sow so shall you reap, or what goes around comes around. What do we mean by sowing? Simply every action or deed you do causes an effect and every thought causes an effect. So if you have sown good deeds as in helping others, being of service, giving love and Kindness for lengthy periods of time you can expect to reap those seeds. Alternatively if we have sown other deeds and thoughts of a hurtful nature we can expect problems of one nature or another to beset us. Edgar Cayce frequently mentioned in treating disease that we were working against karma and frequently told people that they would get well faster by helping others. Ah you may say why is it that babies are sometimes born with so many impediments; they have not sown wrongful acts. Yes they have not in this lifetime but what about their previous lives as in reincarnation. You may not wish to go into this subject at this time but there are millions of references to it, some in the bible and a lot of eastern religions, some people can actually remember their past lives. There is now even past life regression therapy used in hypnosis to treat phobias, which are not connected with this lifetime. What do you think these statements mean taken out of the bible 5:5-14 When Jesus discovered a man who had been ill for thirty eight years . On curing him Jesus said to the man.'Behold you have become well; do not sin anymore so that nothing worse may befall you' This clearly indicates that by implication of his statement that this mans troubles were caused by breaking the law of karma. 9;2 And behold they were bringing to him a paralytic, lying on a bed and Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic " Take courage, my son your sins are forgiven " Mathew 12:36 And I say to you that every careless word that men shall speak, they shall render account for it in the day of judgment for by your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned. Causes and effects from Edgar cayce research Asthma Pressed the life out of others Blindness Blinded captives with red hot irons Paralysis Injured others so they could barely walk Anaemia Shed others blood Racial bigot As a galley slave he was beaten to death by a negro master Cancer Laughed at Christians being torn apart by wild animals Paraplegic As a Roman soldier – made light of others suffering Poverty Abused others- Impoverished others Repeated disappointments Disappointed others A woman who was wary of men Deserted by husband in the crusades Claustrophobia Buried alive Choking spasms strangled others to death Mental illness Practised Withcraft, Black magic All illness is the result of sin Edgar cayce says ,this applies to wealth and happiness as well apparently Now we can meet our karma in two ways the first as in an eye for an eye, which means reaping in the exactly the same way as we have done. we see this method being enacted each day mostly on the news,as calamity after calamity is portrayed to us . death hunger disease torture homelessness it is very painful to see and to feel. Or we can come under the law of grace where we can have the opportunity to transmute our karma by the giving of service to others. that means working for others -voluntary work etc -daily if possible apparently we can choose which way You choose, I much prefer the latter being so much less painful on my soul. much easier to work it off in the main If we are unwell and by implication therefore suffering from past seeds sown it follows therefore one of the fastest ways to get well is to incorporate into your treatment plan service or giving to somebody as often as you can . Ask for opportunities to be of service .I have proved this concept on a daily basis and feel that this concept is so important in all types of healing and to achieve other effects like having friends ,enriching experiences, money and other effect which we all need. Just a few examples of how we can be of service –giving Sharing our being, our wealth, sending our thoughts, giving to charity, sharing a joke, uplifting someone, giving listening time, giving healing, giving labour, giving love, giving entertainment, giving food, giving information and a million more ways. Edgar cayce gave many thousands of examples of karma at work ,he even told one person who asked to be healed that to cure him of this thing would be to no avail as another would surely come . As you can see from this statement the man has got to work it off ,this apply to us all and its not just health either that this applies to .Virtually every effect you can name . All is seen ,all is heard, all is felt. The wise among you will take the attitude of discovering the areas of service you have to make ammends on before effects of ill health reach you whether it be cancer, Parkinson's blindness or what have you.how to discover this? Well I suggest you pray to be shown or ask the universe to reveal it to you. reveal the areas which are most suited to service Just going along in your life and living for self and not bothering until problems come can be very painful. It is almost like asking for trouble to come , the fact that we are down here on planet earth is admitting we have karma to work off. For there is no need to come here at all if we are karma free and have learned all our lessons it would appear . The spirit of service must enter every nerve, cell, tissue and bone of your body. For research purposes only -subject water The importance of water –advise to start with reading this article at http://curezone.com/art/read.asp?ID=17 & db=3 & C0=17 I found this article by a doctor /researcher to be almost amazing More on health at my web site http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/seventhmoon/orion/ Some clarification needs to be given over the term water as the stuff coming out of your taps can hardly be described as clean and may have very detrimental effects to your entire well being. there are allowable limits which the uk government have published which water companies have to abide by these can be found at http://www.legislation.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20003184.htmyou see what they can pump to us you may be very alarmed. A brief summary of what is allowed Arsenic, Antimony, Benzene, Cadmium, Cyanide, Fluoride, Lead, Mercury, nitrates pesticides to name but a few of the many. These substances can be very toxic and too my knowledge no long term effects have been researched in this country. Which is why friends of the earth are campaigning on your behalf. To the buffoons who say my dad drank it all his life and he was all right, one could have got away with it a few yrs ago the reality is now we have millions of tons more pollution leaching into our water. Our bodies need water ,not coffees teas ,cordials coke etc some of these substances act as diuretics , water is needed to help our bodies eliminate toxins and as we are made up of around 75% water you can bet water quality is going to play a big role in how we function feel and help or hinder our abilities. Some Childrens behavior has been hugely improved when drinks containing E numbers , aspartame etc have been supplemented for clean water, every mother should bear this in mind. How much water we need ? the results I have come across are about two litres a day. The alternatives to the tap, this is when it gets interesting forget water softeners these do not remove contaminants ,other things like jug filters, carbon filters leave a lot of waste in the water, the best of the bunch seems to be reverse osmosis machines and these will vary. Bottled water , bear in mind there is no regularity body covering this industry so what is in those bottles how long its been there how much plastic has leached into the water is a bit unknown. There a lot of pointers indicating that water should be stored in glass bottles not plastic. Which bottled water is the best ,a very good question , how is water quality measured? well you need a lab to really know that , simple instruments like a TDS meter which measures dissolved solids may be apart of the answer, some reverse osmosis machines will indicate less than 10 which is considered medically pure ,just dipping your hands in that water will bring the reading up to 70 ish the tap measured anything from 150-350 and may be a lot higher in other areas. Bottled water from about 8 different makes, readings from our source here -best glencairn 125,volvic130,highland spring180 worst badoit 1400.I expect these results to vary as that rain has to come through our polluted atmosphere. Even back in the 1900 s Edgar cayce advocated spring water not the tap. According to certain researchers water when acting to rid the body of toxins , rubbish and will help Many different complaints including arthritis and a host of others An interesting adjunct to this is that water when exposed to different colours of the spectrum changes and may have some therapeutic effect. Seehttp://www.colourtherapyhealing.com/application/solarized_water.as p and also http://www.hado.net/ for more info on the energy of water. Guest guest
Just what I have and others have been saying for a long time, know your illnees, know your body, well, and use all the home stuff you can that will damage nothing, taken long or short term. Of course if so unwell, commonsense tells you if all has failed a good doe of AB.s, till well, then get into the great regular regime of all naturals, eat well, drink well, home made , home grown if possible potions, and keep it up, get into a good regime, then if possible excersise also, if not, steam up the Bathroom for 1/2 hour, cough, sweat and even tears, but it all works if done gradually and sensibly.( and a drink bottle in hand all the while) Sandy > >Reply-To: bronchiectasis >To: bronchiectasis >Subject: Re: Input needed >Date: Fri, 17 Dec 2004 22:25:07 -0000 > > >--- i would be realy interewted to see the remedy of edgar cayce in >action >the fumes of apple brandy for an oak keg which has been charred >drawn into the lungs >many good reports > >Hi >For you some very valuable health information >Please evaluate carefully > >There is a lot that may be done to prevent illness ,suggest making >a hard copy of this >if you are serious and a reading of it as a line by line approach >as consideration of this material at hand.
