Guest guest
Hello everyone! Slots are filling up – Please let me know if you are interested in registering. This spring, I will be conducting a 6-week Environmental Art Therapy group for those interested in delving into personal work that is both individual and environmental. The more mindful we are of the “out”, the more likely we are to see positive impact on the “in”. When we speak of “out there”, it’s not only an objective description, but we are speaking of our insides as well. At the same time, our inner experience is not something that is completely our own, but often shared by others and holds concrete form in our environment. My goal in this group is to help facilitate a way for participants to connect or re-connect in a new way to the self, the group, and the physical environment. During this 6-week group, participants will meet in 3 different natural settings (public parks/beaches in Brooklyn, NY). A portion of each group will be spent creating with found objects and nature in those locations, while another portion will be spent processing the experience and giving/receiving responses within the group. Please let me know if you are or someone you know is interested in learning more! I have attached a flier and the type version is pasted below. Thank you for considering! Best, Jean 16bluejeans@...
