more info from GI/Hep C donors

I mentioned yesterday that I had seen my GI. We also talked about the

increase in Hep C infection and he said that he believes that Hep C

donors can be used for those who already have Hep C....so, I guess you

are just replacing a liver that's badly damaged with one in better

shape, but still infected. Is that so? Dave? It was his opinion that

a Hep C liver would not be transplanted into one of us..........

That changes the focus of my thinking about an educational campaign

about Hep C a bit. I'll check into this further, but would appreciate

it if anyone who knows anything about this would share it with me.
