Dear

Yes, teeth are 80% collogen and can have many issues with EDS related

problems. I have 5 broken teeth but still have managed to retain most

of them - so far, only two wisdom teeth out and one molar which I broke

in labour having my second daughter. Eventually had to have it pulled.

My non-EDS mother, still has her own teeth at 86. She is the oldest

client of her dentist who has her own teeth so I hope to keep mine for

as long as possible, broken ones as well.

Good luck with your appointment at Sick Kids. I hope it goes well for

you both.

Love and hugs,

Lilian

,

Hi it's Sally again (Elliott's mum). So sorry we haven't been able to

forward any more e-mails to Petra yet. We have been having major technical

problems establishing a connection and everything on our PC is very slow at

the moment, we also have digital camera problems, so bear with us for the

photots. Elliott will e-mail Petra as soon as we can establish a daytime

connection (can only seem to get on line after 10pm at the moment!!)

Also regarding your posting re Petra's teeth, Elliott had to have ten teeth

removed in an operation last year because of instability caused we now know

by EDS. Hope you can get Petra's dental problems resolved.

Hope you are both well. Take care

Sally

Hi ,

How are you doing? I always hate the night before an important

appointment. I always worry too much. I cope better when I have time

to sit down and make a careful list of all the questions I want to ask.

If you want to chat I will be around for awhile tonight.

Good luck with your trip to the Drs tomorrow... we'll all be praying

you get the answers you need to have and deserve to have to help get on

your way to recovery and understanding of all this

hugs
