Betsy,

The Discovery Health channel had a great episode on transplant.

I'm not sure about the marrow transplant but I do recall reading

something recently about ampherisis on the recipient prior to

transplant to help lessen rejection potential. This filters their

blood.

When the procedure is done laproscopically do you as the donor still

lose a rib?
