This is what I use, there are is 270 capsules per bottle.

Pau D?Arco [immune] bark comes from a tree that grows primarily in Argentina

and Brazil. The tree is known as taheebo. Unlike other trees in its midst,

pau d?arco does not develop fungus growth. It contains a chemical called

lapachol, which may account for the herb?s ability to strengthen and support the

immune system. Pau d?arco also helps build blood, supports detoxification and

helps maintain a healthy circulatory system.

Nature?s Sunshine?s pau d?arco comes from Brazil. It is available in a

variety of forms, including capsules, bulk for tea, liquid extract and soothing

lotion. Each capsule contains 500 mg pau d?arco.

Take 2 capsules with a meal three times daily. Five capsules are equivalent

to two cups of Taheebo tea. Liquid: take 1/2 teaspoon with water three times

daily. Bulk: Add 1 heaping tablespoon to 2 pints boiling water and remove

from heat. Steep for 20 minutes and strain. Yields 4 servings. Lotion is for

external use only.

My Chinese acupuncturists says that traditional Chinese medicine does not

focus on candida and how to get rid of it as much as making your organs as

strong as possible. I have come slowly to understand that this is true -

this goes for lyme and the myriad other bacteria etc. that people can get.

The trick is to focus on making your organs and constitution as strong as

possible so that you can overcome anything that comes your way.

I have taken a variety of pro biotics over the years and never noticed any

difference - read Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon and that helped me

to understand the role of good bacteria. I read that the way traditional

societies got their pro biotics was from fermented foods eaten at every

meal. So I stopped buying all of the acidophilus etc varieties and started

eating sauerkraut. I experimented with brands and actually found one that

says it contains lactic acid on the label - since I started taking it, I

noticed that my chronic constipation seems to be going away. I know

somebody on another listserv who ate 30 hour fermented raw goats yogurt and

sauerkraut to heal her leaky gut; another problem people with ms seem to

have.

Re: Book-Rhonda

I know about Candida and seems it's impossible to get rid of it.

I've read the Yeast Connection and other info. It's just insane all

the things they say not to eat and why is all these other people

walking around and they don't seem to be bothered by Candida. I've

taking Probiotics for eons too and seems no help. I've tried all

kinds too even have one with 16 strains in it and wonder if my

intestines really needs all that. Actually, I blow up and have

abdominal pain and eating seems to hurt. Femalewise, that never stops

and I've wasted tons of money on prescriptions and done some natural

things also with no help. Yep, I've heard cloudy, rainy days makes the

Candida worse but I don't know how to be that extreme with diet. I

have endometriosis also.

My complementary physician (who used to be a surgeon and is close to

retirement) says that it is the people who are constantly searching for

answers and taking charge of their health who get better, so I am sure you

will to if you keep at it.

Hi ne, My acupuncturist does the same thing. He thinks that to

stimulate the liver, gall bladder and kidneys will help to expell the toxins

from parasite die-off. He always talks about things on an organ level

rather than a cellular one. I take Chinese herbs to strengthen those organs

too. I bought some Knudsen's cranberry juice the other day. It's juice

only, no sugar (add stevia for sweetness if you must). It's good for lining

the bladder so that infectious bacteria can't get a stronghold. It's good

to rinse your mouth with for the same reason. Virgin coconut oil is good.

It's antimicrobial and will help create an environment that is unfriendly to

parasites and bacteria. These evil creatures are causing the microtoxins

mentioned in that great article you sent. I also got some goat's milk, but

haven't tried it yet. I have leaky gut, too. We seem to have similar

circumstances. I think the trick is to fix one problem at a time and the

rest will fall in place. I hope

I'm right!
