Guest guest
Never deny the truth of a feeling. It is real and it is felt. To deny a feeling is denying the obvious. Mostly all feelings originate in one's thoughts. Only when one examines the feeling in depth does one come to the origin of the thought. It is written on the temple at Delphi, " Know Thyself " It is also written, " As a man thinketh, so is he. " One's feelings are the most obvious of expressions, but the real core is inside. Guest guest
Harry I agree. What I had in mind was " I feel like more quantity of food. " This may be related to taking time to eat slowly so the brain gets the message of fullness. Rita > Never deny the truth of a feeling. It is real and it is felt. Guest guest
You are probably right on this score. All my life I have been made fun of for being the slowest eater at the table. Others may consume twice as much food as I did, but still I always usually took twice as long to eat as they did. Guest guest
I'm afraid it's true, ustin, not only for americans, but there are many articles out now that show how diabetes is happening world wide because so many people from all over are getting fatter! Re: Confused! Problem is Pat, most Americans have *no* will power. There is no such thing as a little bit. One bite of a good food means 100% full indulgence with most Americans. It just isn't in our blood IMO heh heh heh Regards, Confused! > > > > > > Hi , Harry and Pat and all listers, > > I am now totally confused and in a whirl. > > mmmmm What to do? > > First for any new members I wish to make it clear I am not yet a diabetic > > but need to drop weight or I've been told I will become one. > > Atkins says no more than twenty carbs a day, but they don't count calories > > just carbs. > > you say you get your marvelous lab tonight test results from as > many > > as > > fifteen carbs a meal. > > Pat has a very valid point that folks gain weight on Atkins even with low > > carbs but high calories.
