I think it is probably stronger than some of the others; at least, they seemed to use it when his UTI was more severe. He also had Levaquin, which I think was pretty strong, too. It is hard to tell if they have side effects, such as nausea, etc., because he, at least, couldn't tell me where he hurt or didn't feel well. So, you just had to go with it and hope it was working.
