Gail, I hope you find a therapist who will brain storm with you and see " out of the box " for creative solutions for your family. It is possible that a radical new approach would lead to success for . Last year when all we received was bad news, I just kept going, because I HAD to. One thing I realized is that what we were doing was NOT THE FUTURE. I didn't ever want to be in that " place " again. Hugs, hugs, for you and Harold and . There are many people doing innovative things to educate their children on their own terms. The children are responding, and so are the educational choices. Search your community for alternatives to this school. This may in fact be a turning point for you, not a path to a darker, deeper hole. Guest guest
How can one attempt to give the gift of life to an OCD suffering child? Beautifully written, . That is what we have struggled with in the past. I remember one night, my husband taught my suffering son how to grill chicken! It was a unique perspective-giving him tools for the future, when he wanted to end his life today. My husband began teaching him adult duties to instill the reminder that this, too, shall pass, and you will be an adult one day, feeding loved ones, putting gasoline into your car, trimming hedges, etc.

Guest guest
Mike: I am not exactly sure what Brunoni syndrome is but this reference may be of help. Brunoni D. Mesomelic dwarfism, skeletal abnormalities, and ectodermal dysplasia. Journal of Clinical Dysmorphology. 2(1):14-8, 1984 Spring. 84215192 It is the only one I can find with Dr. Brunoni as first author and describing a new genetic syndrome. This is the usual telltale sign of a syndrome with an attached proper name. Guest guest
Hi This was the first time I ever met the T Man, I think you might be mistaken, he is very trim. A couple of his sidekicks are overweight though. He does an obnoxious but I think pretty funny morning show. I think his ratings as the #1 morning talk radio show host in Seattle give him voice to say whatever he pleases, we can all switch the dial anytime. I just tried to give the lap band a plug, and I had a lot of fun, I was very surprised they kept me on air that long. Jan > Well, when I saw the T-Man last Halloween he needed the band himself.
