Guest guest
Hi Cara, I am another one who says that vulvar vestibulitis doesn't necessarily always lead to full blown vulvodynia. I have had VVS for over 2 years now, and actually I don't know how long I've had it because my husband was my first partner. I, like you, am praying that it does not develop into 24 hour pain, and I feel so bad for those who do have that pain. I would be interested in hearing from you and others with VVS on what luck(if any) that they've had with different treatments. I am in the process of finding a good OB/GYN who can help me, and I'm trying to convince my doctor to refer me to a physical therapist to try biofeedback. I've found a PT, I just need the referral. All these doctor appointments are fun, aren't they? Has anyone else had to come up with interesting excuses at work as to why you have to leave for appointments all the time? I think I'm running out! But anyway, I would love to hear from other VVS sufferers, because I've been having a hard time relating to some of the stuff on this list for those who have pain all the time. And for those of you who do have the pain all the time, I'm praying for you. Sincerely, Colleen
