Guest guest
, I'm so glad to hear the Estrace has almost eliminated your pain, YIPPEE. Did for me too, but took a total of about 6-7 months. Your doctor may have a point that it may be the additives in the Estrace that are starting to burn you. I'd try getting the Estradiol (Estrace) compounded with out them from a compounding pharmacy. You certainly used it much more often than I could because of the burning, I only was able to use it every 3/4 days in the beginning, and even towards the end when I was feeling pretty good I could only use it once every 2 days. Even now with me feeling 'cured' I still can't use it more often than that in my maintenance dosage. Here's a thought, and put me over the edge I think to healing. In the last 2 months of my total healing, I added a NATURAL (not Methyl) Testosterone cream, 2-3 times a week applied at the same time as the Estrace again 2-3 times a week. Seems to have 'toughened up the skin', so... for what that's worth. good luck, Warmest, Dee~ Again, my philosophy is: LISTEN TO THE BODY, IF IT HURTS SLOW DOWN OR STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! ----- Original Message ----- >At the end of June she gave me Premarin, and due to things I had read on this e-mail group, called her and asked for Estrace instead. So I've been using Estrace twice a day since the end of June. Well, the sharp piercing pain has completely gone away, so sex is possible once again. <clip> But the burning and splitting skin stumped her, b/c the tissue looks very pink and healthy, thanks to the Estrace. One thing she thought was maybe I was reacting to something within the Estrace cream, so I'm going to taper my usage of that a bit and see if there's a change.>
