Guest guest
After a while the Tuskegee syphallis study got people's attention...cuz lots of men were prevented from getting treatment for syphallis and told that they were being treated for it and they were all black men... the government had to apologize, if I'm not mistaken, just recently. before that though it was the basis for some codes on the ethical treatment of experimental subjects. Mengele set up similar experiments and his horribleness brought about the Nuremburg code...also about ethical treatment of patients...guinea pigs. How about asking for Ivaar et al to apologize to the victims of his heinous acts, the feminine boys and the autistics and no doubt others. How about asking UCLA to make a statement about it, how about the APA? Why should it get swept under the rug? comments? Camille
