Need direction for help..............

Hello everyone! My name is Cheryl and I am very new to this group. I

decided to join in order to see if I could get help, advice, or

direction on where to turn. I have been in so much pain for over a

year, had surgeries in hopes it would clear it up and nothing has

worked. I just had surgery on my neck last month, having 2 disks

removed because the nerves and spinal cord were being pinched. The

doctor who did the surgery will not help me out with medication at

this point (not that it helped in the first place). He said to go to

your primary doctor. Well in my particular case, I can't because I

have absolutely no income and I have been off work since Nov.'06 and

will be off work the rest of the year. I have applied for help and

SSI/SSDI (denied), saying I am not severe enough for them to help. But

3 weeks ago, I was told that I was listed as severe by the same people

who denied me. So, I am FORCED TO LIVE WITH ALL THIS PAIN and I just

can't take it anymore.

Also dealing with depression from losing both parents and my step

brother in 9 months time (6/06-3/07)!!!! I am also dealing, the best I

can, with numbing, tingling, burning,stabbing pain from my rt.

shoulder to my feet.I JUST WANT IT TO STOP, I CAN'T TAKE THE PAIN NO

MORE!!!!!!!!

Someone please, tell me where I should turn if our own government

turns me away? I just want to run away or give up sometimes. But NOT

give up on living.PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
