Greensburg Pennsylvania Area - Out of Curiosity

Hi Everybody!!!

Well, us oldies all pretty much so know me.. but I've neglected welcoming all our newcomers.. and I want to do that at this time.

My name is Donna. I'm a 45 year old female, who was diagnosed 3 years ago, Aug/Sept (I can't remember the date exactly, and didn't realize that I'd actually want to remember that particular date at some point in the future.. LOL). I've been on Avonex therapy from Sept/Oct of the same year (another exact date I didn't think I'd want to remember). I'm the mother of two grown sons, ages 29 and soon to be 22. Though I was diagnosed 3 years ago, with history my neuro said she believed that I had been dealing with the MonSter for at least 10 years prior, if not longer, I just didn't know it, and none of my doctors put it together or suspected it either.

When I spoke with (and forgive me if I got her name wrong), the Physician's Assistant at my PCP's office, we discussed my MS, and we discussed this particular support group. She then asked me if I would mind giving her the name of the group, as her mother is also a victim of the MonSter. I happily gave her the name of the group, and told her that we'd be most pleased for her mother to join us here. Now what I'm wondering is if she has joined our family. So if you're new to the group, and even if you're not new to the group, and you live in the Greensburg, Pennsylvania area, let me know.. Speak Up.. don't be shy... (you'll find that I'm not.. lol)...
