Guest guest
Part3 of 3 of Seed Of Individualiity. I needed to apply this, becuase of how proud - how stubburn I am, and how strong I am to not allow this to get under my skin. This I believe is in everyone here and world-wide. Many of you know that I have MDS, and I have a son. A lot of Doctors are in disbielef that any one with MDS to have a child. And my child today is 3!! Ronin Morton, is 3 years old as of 1:28 this morning!!! Within being proud of him, I had a small arguement. someone, and within this arguement I was called a " retard " and - " Mentaly retarded " by this person his mother; for my troubles. Let me give you a heads up; these's words can't hurt me. And it applies to my lesson for one main, and very important point! Strength. Know one can avoid the stereo-types for to long. Either parent, or child. It's always going to be there. I've personally heard it all! And as a parent who has Mosaic Down Syndrome, I stand for my son, and all people with this. Know one can hurt me, know one can hurt you... unless you allow them too! You are a parent, you are an individual. And the biggest Seed you can give your self is your strength for your child and what them grow to be just as, if not stronger than you are. Have an awesome weekend everyone!!
