I usually just watch this group. I have been using Dr Peng for a few months.

His charges have not changed for us. He said, due to my daughter's age/weight

she would need to use a bag of tea every day...$8 a bag times 30 days is

$240...plus shipping. I have family that picked it up for us. He has not

charged me for further consult and said just to call if I am in Houston and he

will talk to us( a day or two notice) at his office. I have talked to him on

the phone and there is a language problem...he has a heavy accent.

I think ya'll are getting upset without the whole picture. This man has an

office, staff, manufacturing facility... I would bet when I go down there(I'm

in Dallas), based on where his office is in Houston...that he mainly serves the

Chinese/Oriental community.

TCM is different from DAN or US medicine...give the guy a break...If you don't

want to use him, don't and get over it.

Someone has already said this, but I have spent a great deal more money on other

'out there therapies'...My main concern, as is yours I'm sure, is to help my

child and to do no harm. I tested the 'tea' out in the fall for a month and saw

improvements and felt that the 'cost' is less than all the supplements we were

giving. Then restarted in Jan.

I suggest if you are truly concerned but want to try TCM find someone local. I

am NOT a person who jumps in on anything esp for my child, but I consider this

at the very least a break from all the supplements that contain all sorts of

interesting things also. These are not well regulated either.

ly, I thought the MMR was safe---circa mid-1980s. Go with your heart,

after all the best you can do is the best you can do...based on what you know at

the time.
