Most kids with PANDAS seem to do well on antibiotics. You can do the

ASO test, and there is a newer test called D8-17 that may be a better

indicator of PANDAS (or response to IVIG). Is there strep in her

stool? My son regressed after strep infection, and during the first

few years after his regression, he always did much better on antibiotics.

Hi,

Do you mean if the D8/17 test is positive, it might indicate a more promising

result from IVIG? .

This is my boy all over. Also bitten by something when he was 12 months old

whilst in the rockies.

adhd all the way, and its ruining his life and ours, only maybe its not adhd.

thanks so much for this.

what is the name of the test though? anyone know what test to order or where to

get it?
