Someone asked about my mom, making up with mom...

Well, It seemed like the forces were working against us in finding

another place to stay and my husband was not for getting a motel to

visit relatives that had room for us. I called up mom and asked nicely

if we could stay with her the one night and she was fine with it. I

feel strongly that I want to try to be at peace with her, even though

she blows everything out of proportion, she is my mom and I do love

her. My daughter says that many of my mannerisms are like hers...it is

kind of funny how you do turn into your mom when you get older.

I believe that it is important to try to be at peace with everyone. I

do not want to be spending the little energy that I have in anger to

anyone. Now, that does not mean I would want to spend time with people

who intentally hurt me, but I can forgive them in my heart, but just

chose to not spend time with them. It is harder with family. Anger

only hurts the one who is angry. Hugs, Penny
