<<I've had three good neurologists and they all wanted me to take Avonex. The first one wanted me to start Avonex. Then, after I had the near fatal car wreck in August 2002 the second neuro told me that he felt I wouldn't have survived the attack I would have probably had after the wreck if I hadn't already been on Avonex. Now my current neuro told me 'never quit taking Avonex'! That gives me something to think about for sure. It's very hard isn't it?>>

Well, that makes four. The neurologist that I saw (for my own situation) said "tell him (meaning my husband) to STAY ON THE

MEDICINE!!!" He said it very emphatically!! Almost superstitiously.

So, I guess I'm back to encouraging him to stay on it. The pendulum swings.........
