Thank you for your answer. I am sorry you are going through empty

nest, I know it must be hard. On the other hand, your CPAP is working

better. Isnt it funny such a small thing can make a big difference?

It is natural to be anxiety ridden about Al and your surgery. Big

steps, both of them. All I can say is I will be here for you if you

need a sounding board, you can vent all you want! LOL.

room lately. First of all my daughter has needed me to babysit in

the early evening for the last two weeks. The rest of the time I

have been sleeping and getting more rest than you think people really

need. I have finally figured out that the straps on the CPAP machine

mask were too tight, so I have loosened them, and started being able

to sleep better at night. My husband works night shift, so he

doesn't get home until 4 in the morning, and I have been on a high

anxiety level lately, so haven't posted anything personal for a while.

trying to figure out a way to take his early retirement pension so

that he can stay home with me and take care of me. 2) I have been

given a date for the Bariartric Weight Loss Surgery, and have spent a

lot of time focusing on self-care as far as eating more

appropriately, medications, hot-tubbing (because of the pain) and in

general trying to gain information. 3) Trying to get through this

empty nest syndrome feeling - my daughter, now 32 has had many ups

and downs with many very bad relationships. We have been her primary

person she leans on. Last July she married Mr. Wonderful (and he

really really is). She and her boys don't need us on a daily basis

anymore - and it is a real shock to our system. Its all a good

thing. We are very happy for the boys and her and we LOVE him.

participating a tiny bit and being a little overbearing when I do,

and trying to figure things out. When I get this way, I get very

quiet and withdrawn. Just thinking! Thanks for asking!
