Guest guest
I've done extemely well on Oxy ER for two years, but all of a sudden this darned Medicare won " t cover and is insisting I switch to Morphine Sulfate ER. (I take 160 mg morning and evening). I found out when I went for a refill, ran out while waiting for approval, then had to borrow $425 to pay out of pocket. We've appealed their decision, but while I wait for an answer I've once again need to get my prescritption filled. This has been a nightmare...the company that handles my Medicare gives me the wrong info, doesn't fax us the required forms as promised, etc, etc, etc. Plus they are wanting me to change many of my other drugs that have worked so well for so long (and the prices are similar) ER verses Morphine Sulfate ER? is there a noticible difference? Pharmacist tells me he thinks the dosing amounts will be the same Thanks,
