Prisicilla,

I posted a link about neural foramen, but forgot to add that patent

used in medicine means 1. Not blocked; open.

2. Spreading open; expanded.

This means your neural foramen is wide open and the nerves are not

being pressed on.

" patent " means " open " vs. closed off due to inflammation or other

reasons. You were right, this is good, and normal.
