I haven't checked in for a while, but haven't been bothered by the

hurricane. We did get a fairly heavy shower from it, though. We sure needed

it, almost 10 " behind for the year. It really hurts to see the video of that

Gulf Coast area. I lived in Biloxi for a while and had kin in the New

Orleans area, but I think they moved out a few years ago. I also thought

about Larry, and his dogs. Many people interviewed here say they had to

leave the pets there because they didn't have room. I hope they at least let

them go out so they could protect themselves.

Wednesday, 2 weeks ago, I started feeling bad during the afternoon, and

hurting like I forgot my Prednesone. Since then, I've had high fever (102*)

off-and-on, chills, and a little swelling of joints. I went to my GP and

found nothing wrong. I went back Tuesday for blood tests, urine tests, and

chest x-rays. Everything was almost perfect afer 5 hours of more pain, so I

came home. I had called my Rummy's office again and again, and was promised

that I would be called with an appointment time, but, no calls! I'm taking

my Lortab 2 at a time, but it doesn't help much. I also doubled my Pred. I

did finally get my last 5 blood test results, so I understand a little more,

like stopping my Arava because my ALT doubled in that one month! Anybody

want to guess what my Rummy might do?

Dennis
