Guest guest
, I found the issue of the newsletter I was telling you about that discussed topical compounding agents for muscle spasms. Since we can't post names or phone numbers on here, if you would like, I can give you the name of the pharmacist who specializes in coumpounding topicals that your doc can call for advice on what would work best. They can put in opioids, NMDA-receptor agonists, lidocaine and/or prilocaine, aitriptyline or doxepin, gabepentin, baclofen, and/ or NSAID's....and you don't have to worry about whether or not it's gonna stick! While the Lidoderm patches DO work great, what everyone has said is true, and I think I mentioned those drawbacks too. I am looking at the front of one of the patch packages right now, and it says that they have to be stored at 77 degrees, and then it says " excursions permitted to 59-86 degrees " , which I'm taking to mean that below or above those temps, they aren't going to stick as well, or all. Let me know if you are interested in that name and number for your doctor, or if anyone else is, feel free to contact me. Jen
