Guest guest
You can always try the 25 mg twice a week. After trying the 50 mg one time, I went right back to the 25 mg. It also seems to last better for me. Sue On Friday, June 24, 2005, at 11:12 AM, Beth wrote: > I am taking the 50 mg once a week. And it is terrible. > I really hope it gets better. Guest guest
I'll be glad to send you some fat for your stomach, LOL. But when you get the injection in the thigh, isn't it going through muscle. Maybe in the stomach there would be less muscle and wouldn't hurt as much. You could try it. Guest guest
Hi, Beth. I actually just posted a question about this recently. I've been on enbrel for almost 6 weeks and had my first reaction last week. Mine was red and itchy for about 2 days. Now it's just red and I can tell it's going away. I called the nurse line and they said it would probably just go away in a couple of days. It isn't bothersome but I'll call my doc if it keeps happening. Hope that helped. diana louisiana --- Beth <mightybeth2001@...> wrote: > I took my injection Tuesday night, now this morning > I > get up and the injection site is red all around. It > doesn't itch. Guest guest
, Thanks, I just thought that it was odd that it didn't do it until two days later. I could see it happening on the day that I got the shot. Oh well it is probably nothing. Beth(AR) --- Enxing <dianaenxing@...> wrote: > Hi, Beth. Guest guest
Dear Beth and Corrine: I have been on ENbrel several years and when I first started I got real tired and my joint s hurt a lot after injections but eventually that went away and I still get the tired feeling sometimes and my thighs are really bruised from the shots but no itch or redness have I had. Enbrel has really made a difference for me, I could hardly walk at all when I started them, I have had to stop several times, as I had sepsus infection, that really bad blood infection in Jan. and was hospitalized in Ft. COllins , Colorado for nine days five of them in ICU, I almost died, blood pressure was 53/32 and they said if I had waited until morning to come to the hospital my kidneys would have shut down, the good lord was looking over me for sure. This infection was caused from a colon infection that one of my Dr's here where I live didn't follow up on after the medication and the infection came back and went into sepsus. I now have fluid in the plueral spaCE OF MY LUNG and pericarditis fluid around the heart and inflamation around the heart so have had my lund drained in May and June and go back to lung dr. tomorrow for more x-rays. Say some prayers for me too!!! Write to me anytime Shirl Edmis3@...

Guest guest
You're welcome Beth. Another thing I remembered is that when I first started taking it, I'd get injection site reactions at the site of the PREVIOUS injection. Now that was weird. Others reported the same thing, so it helped knowing it was normal. a On Jul 21, 2005, at 10:42 PM, Beth wrote: > a, > Thank you that makes me feel better.
