I think it's great that you are so concerned, there aren't too many

husbands like you out there. Niki is very lucky to have you. My

daughter is the one who has the seizures and she's only 13yo and has had

the seizures since she turned 12yo and she's on Trileptal. I'm sorry that

I can't help with any info about Keppra, but I just wanted to say how

sorry I am that you and Nikki have had such a rough time. God Bless you

both!

Niki, my wife, has had sporadic epileptic grand-mal siezures for 23

years. She unfortunately has been in Hospital for the last 4 weeks.

She had a realy good spell of 5 months we went on holiday and on our

return they came back with a vengance. She'll be out soon and if i

know Niki she'll have plenty to say but she's a bit of a

Hi :

Welcome to the group!! Your wife is lucky to have you and I hope she does

well.

I have an adult friend that takes Keppra and she is doing very well on it -

no seizures at all - and she is a person that has had seizures since a young

age. She's a mother of two, a beautiful girl, and can work full time with

Keppra!

I know each of us react differently to medications.

I'm still looking for someone to discuss the one I take - Tegretol - from

this group!

I'm sorry you're hurting so bad . As for who to help with pain relief,

depends on your doctor. The first Rheumy didn't believe in pain meds, but my

new one does. So I'd say ask both and see what happens?

Have a good day!

Bless your heart , you certainly have a

housefull. I suggest you talk to both your doctors,

make sure they communicate your health care with one

another, so one knows what the other may have you on.

Welcome to the group, I hope you will see how

wonderful and caring the people are here. :) in MO
