Dear Tess, you are in my thoughts, I pray that this

surgeon you are to see can remove that cyst and there

will be no complications and that your body will feel

better soon. Take care, in MO

Tess,

That sounds very painful. I hope you can get to a surgeon soon. Will

keep you in my prayers. Keep us posted, Tawny

Well, there is a very large cyst, likely a neurofibroma, just below my

right hip on the side, and I have to see a surgeon about it. My pcp

says it is way too large and deep for her to endeavor, and it may be

an " iceberg " and she is concerned about nerves and blood vessels and

such. Judi, are these anything like your Dercum's growths?

Tess,

I'm so sorry you're in so much pain and have to deal with this cyst.

I hope it isn't a complicated procedure removing it. I wish this

flare would subside

and you could get back to feeling good again. Sending hugs your way.

Tess, I am so sorry that you are going through so much right now- it

seems like when it rains it pours. I wish I could do something to

make it better. Know that you are loved and prayed for.

Hi, Tess.

I'm very sorry to hear that you still aren't feeling very well.

Is this cyst different from what you mentioned before - the lump at the top

of your

thigh?

Not an MD

I'll tell you where to go!

Hi Tess,

Sorry to be so long in answering, but I have been really down for the

past week, partly the result of some new medication I was taking, and

partly due to some newly-developed heart problems. My doctor is also

testing me for lupus...fun, right?

My tumors are not neurofibromas, but lipomas (or angiolipomas as most

of them have been.) The ones around my hips are deep, causing a great

deal of difficulty sleeping, sitting, or walking. Heck, just about

eveyrthing I want to do! Some are as large as softballs now, like the

one in my left buttock which is causing sciatica.

Do you have lumps anywhere else? Like the backs of your arms, ribs,

abdomen? I hate to see you suffering, and hope you don't have one more

concern to add to your list.

Keeping you in prayer,

Judi
