Greetings....I have NEVER been so honoured...that YOU would write a poem for ME.

NO ONE has ever done that! And I want to thank you all, whom are too many to

count.....yet ARE counted, in my heart!! God Bless you Kim, and Thank you , you,

and all of you ..I have been really too depressed lately, and I am trying really

hard to " get it together " . You all just blow me away! I had no idea that so many

of you care so much for me. There were tears in my eyes, as I read what surely

you all have endorsed...

***** I was trying to compare how hard doing this was...and the only thing I

could come up with was the time I guit drinking! Maybe I told some of you about

it, I can't remember(there are 3 signs of getting old:the first one is you start

to lose your memory......and I can't remember the other two)

Speaking of which, and you can check with Tammy, ' cause this is

true....yesterday, she bought me a hat you can put your fishin' license

in,because it is plastic window in front. I made her buy it, and on the computer

I put " HELP! If I appear lost, call my wife at 242-2887! REALLY!

(gets a lot of laughs)...Oh yeah, the drinking....I was coming home, at a very

early age in my life,'bought 17, and had a glass hip flask in my hip pocket of

my jeans...well I never been TOO graceful, and as I was climbing the steps, I

lost my balance and fell! Guess where? YUP! What a mess!

I was cut pretty good, but we had a full length mirror on the bathroom door, and

I was at least sober enough to know I would ruin the sheets....so I backed up to

the mirror, nicely put the bandage on.....and went to sleep.

Well, the next afternoon, I woke up, and my bed looked like a WAR ZONE! I

looked, and looked...couldn't find no bandage....walked into the bathroom, and

there, just as perfect, not a wrinkle on it was the bandage...on the

mirror!Woof! I even backed up to it....yup...perfect fit!

I quit drinking!
