Guest guest Posted August 2, 2005 Report Share Posted August 2, 2005 Dear Sierra, I am so sorry for your loss. It truly rips at your hearstring when you lose a furry friend. I lost my 2 old dogs last year(old age) and young cat(FIP disease) and it still brings tears to my eyes. Do not apologize for your feelings! God put animals here for us! And I think many in our family have truly benefitted from our pets. Please, you can never replace your lost dog, but it would be a wonderful tribute if you were emotionally and physically able to adobt a rescued animal in memory of your dog. I am sorry if it sounds bad, but I did that with my dear cat, and replaced her with a kitten that warms my heart and makes it smile. Please take care because we all care.
