definitely no hyphen. glad to hear from someone. this site is pretty much done

for because we have no moderator and therefore no one can join.

To everyone with English as their native language

Hi everybody,

I haven´t been here for a very long time. I used to be moderator in this group

some years ago, I guess some of you remember me:).

I have a question, very off topic.

I am involved in a Swedish (my language) site for writers. Right now we are

having a discussion weather high heels should have a hyphen or not. Can you

people with English as your native language help me?

Is this the correct spelling: high heels

Or this: high-heels

Or maybe it doesn´t matter?

Sorry for being so off topic but I didn´t know who else ta ask:).

Thanks for your answer Vivian!

I had a feeling that there shouldn´t be any hyphen but I wasn´t sure.

Sorry to hear about the group. What happened to and why didn´t anyone

offer to be a moderator?

I could moderate the group again for a while if you guys want to. Let me know if

you´re interested. I´m just not sure how to get the moderator job when no one

can handle it over to you. The last time I moderated the group

approved of me, anyone who knows what to do?

Gee, I haven´t written in English for so long that I´ve forgotten expressions

and spelling completely...:) I probably sound like the foreign Swede I am...

*big smile*

,

Your English is just fine and your spelling is better than that of lots of

people on the Internet for whom English is their native language.

I have no idea how to become the moderator. Perhaps the information is somewhere

on the Yahoo website. After someone else did it for awhile and then

dropped out. I'm sure another member has more info on this topic.
