Guest guest
Hey yall. Blessings to my precious RA fam. I have a dilemma i need your thoughts on. Chas, my 18 y.o. has migraines, which are fairly frequent. Her dad quit his job which had excellent medical coverage to go back to driving a truck. The stuff her doc prescribed is 25.00 a pill. We have no medical insurance on her, she is going to college next month, and we make barely too much to qualify for assistance. I am afraid that the adjustment to college will probably trigger more migraines. She has just been getting samples from our doc but she will be 3 hours away now. Does anyone know of a program for kids in this sort of " gray area " between childhood and adulthood? Her dad is no help when it comes to things of this sort. We live in Texas btw....Imitrex has been very effective on her h/a's. She had one when i got home last night, she was on the couch with a blanket and pillow over her head to block out the light. ( Love yall bunches. jane
