The NJ Practice Act dictates that a prescription is only valid for two weeks

after it is written. Therefore if a patient enters the clinic with a

prescription beyond that, he/she must obtain a new one before treatment can

be initiated.Are other states in line with this. It seems to me, if Medicare

allows thirty days, it shoulds be consistent in the private sector. Please

let me know how it works in your state.
